Large labia

Hello
I was wondering if I could get some male and female opinions on what you think of women with larger labia than normal?

From a men’s point of view if it puts you off or makes sex difficult or oral sex not as nice?

And women if you ever have any pain during sex or ever found it an issue?

I’ve recently broken up my ex who I was in a long term relationship with and he never found it an issue but I’m now thinking about when I next have sex with someone new and I feel so insecure!

I don't think it's an issue at all. Its not what influences the interest in that area. I've only come across a few at close hand, but all a bit different, all fine. Don't worry.

How do you even know that your labia is larger than normal? Have you seen lots of them?

I kind of think my labia are large, but at the same time, I don't know what is average, and i think even if they are on the larger size, they are probably still normal.

Just came out of a long sexless relationship...and had to tidy up the garden down there in anticipation of getting some action. I am actually much more personally comfortable with a full bush, as soon as I cut it back I really noticed friction between my labia and my underwear, not in a good way.

It did leave me wondering whether porn and the fashion for shaving everything off, leaving the labia exposed, has made a lot of women feel like they have larger than average labia?

Otherwise i dont think men are that bothered - they'll be far more worried about whether they can get it up and if you think its too small!

Look up the great wall of vagina, you can see casts of all sorts!

Just looked up the great wall of vagina...ok, mine's fairly normal, every woman concerned about their labia should look it up!

Genitals, mens and womens, and not the most attractive body part, I think there is a good reason why they are mostly covered up!

Man here. Been with 10+ Ladies in my life and performed oral on each.

Cannot really remember the size of their lips; it's so unimportant. We are just so pleased to be seeing them ;)

I find large labia to very attractive, and I am confident that I am not the only man who thinks this way.

Confidence in one's body is very desirable from a male point of view, so I wouldn't worry about either the size, or the appearance of your labia. If a prospective partner finds your labia not to his taste, then that is his problem and not yours.

I can't speak personally as I don't have large labia...in fact I have hardly anything so other extreme although more than happy like that. However, I do know some women really don't like having larger labia and find it uncomfortable if doing sport.

I watched a programme a while ago which followed a young woman who really disliked her labia. She called it a "hanging ham" and ended up having surgery to basically have her lips reduced right back. Painful definitely.

I do find it a shame we can get such hang ups about how we look down below as I suspect it is based upon the perfect vulva from porn

No issues,all woman are a bit different just the same as guys are. For oral simply spread those labia and get stuck in :)

Thank you so much for your replies, it’s been a massive confidence boost that it’s hopefully just me that sees it as an issue. I think it’s mainly porn that just convinces you if you don’t look like a barbie doll down there it’s not normal. I’ve also had a look at the Great Wall of vagina and wow what an amazing idea!

Oh dear, I just looked at the great wall of vagina and was at first shocked that so many peope seemed to have large warts or moles on their vulvas, then realised they are piercings 🤣

But back to the point, it makes you realise how everyone is different and there is no normal.

I don’t know what is classes as large Labia but I know that perm stars actually have plastic surgery to reduce the size of theirs. Which I wonder is less to do with aesthetics and , much like the fashion for shaving, is more to do with the visual when filming penetration.

In my swinging day I met a couple where the female had real issues with her labia, it was all she pretty much spoke about. She wouldn't let anyone see it but allowed me and a female friend a peek and it looked normal. She spoke about getting plastic surgery so she would be happy with the way it looked.

Fast forward a couple of years and bumped into the couple and the first thing she tells me is that she had the surgery but still wasn't happy with the way it looked and she seemed surprised that the surgery hadn't changed the way she thought about it.

I have large labia. As a teen I used to worry about it but it turns out blokes love it - one commented "It makes your fanny look really rude" (meant in a very positive way!) and a recent beau got extremely poetic about it being very attractive, which still makes me blush! I think it's a bonus for sex as there's more surface area on large labia to get pulled on by the penis, which increases clitoral stimulation during penetration. A larger erogenous zone has to be a good thing, surely!
There are plenty of porn actresses with large labia. I've seen loads.
Only downside for me is, going commando is a bit difficult because I tend to get chafing.
