Yeah you need a lot of lube and buy the right kind - anal lube needs to be thicker and have more staying power, since your arse doesn't provide any lubrication itself.

It's great if you have a partner who knows what s/he is doing, as in warms up gently, adds lots of lube, takes it slowly to start with.

The last thing you want is some idiot who doesn't realise porn films have been edited to remove the warm up and thinks he can just start banging like a jack hammer.

I was in a very long term relationship and tried it several times and it just never worked and the thought of it didn't interest me. I do. But only in some positions I think when it hits my gspot at the right angle. Body tingling all over orgasms that last for ages (slow building). Sometimes I need a bit of assistance ;)

Kumquat: if you hate it and don't want to do it, then don't. But did you use loads of lube? And just keep him there for a few minutes not doing anything, slowly, slowly. Its a real skill for a man I think. They have to be very good at reading you, I think that is what makes it so intimate. Like marmite i guess.
