Just wondering? Currently shave but thinking whether waxing or hair remover is easier.

OP posts:
Mummyoftwo91 · 23/01/2017 17:41

Watching, tried waxing before and it never took off anything just left a sticky mess

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 23/01/2017 17:41

What's a foo? Is it a twee name for the vulva?

JustHereForThePooStories · 23/01/2017 17:41

Did you run out of room in the title and mean "foot"?

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 23/01/2017 17:42

That would be less vom inducing - especially in the section where people discussing doing it Shock

sidsgranny · 23/01/2017 17:43

What the fuck is a Foo????

SharingMichelle · 23/01/2017 17:44

I thought you'd left off the 'd' and I came in expecting apples...

blueskyinmarch · 23/01/2017 17:44

I read this as 'Does anyone wax their own floor'. Then I saw it was in sex not housekeeping. Grin

GoofyIsACow · 23/01/2017 17:45

Oh god everyone knew what you meant!
I used to, i can't be arsed now so I usually trim.

NotTheFordType · 23/01/2017 17:45

Love everyone pretending they don't know what OP meant Hmm

I've tried using home waxing kits before but have had poor results. My hair is very deep rooted and even professional waxers have needed 3-4 goes on the same area before everything comes out. My skin then gets really irritated (surprise!) so I stick with shaving.

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 23/01/2017 17:45

OP - if you are that delicate perhaps this isn't the topic Grin

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 23/01/2017 17:47

What's a foo? Is it a twee name for the vulva?

It's obvious what the OP means . Only on MN are people so hung up about using the word vulva. I've had extensive gyne problems and not one consultant or doctor has ever used the word vulva.

No one goes around correcting boys/ men " Actually I think you mean penis not willy"

lanbro · 23/01/2017 17:48

I used to wax regularly but now I use a Philips light gun thing, can't remember it's real name! It's excellent, takes minutes and no mess

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 23/01/2017 17:48

I know many people don't say vulva but surely there are plenty of adult words?

lanbro · 23/01/2017 17:49

FWIW, it's a dooly in our house....Grin

empirerecordsrocked · 23/01/2017 17:49

Oh come on nobody books a vulva wax!

BearGryllsHasaBigRope · 23/01/2017 17:50

I used to before I was pregnant and I've not had a chance since DD was born. I use the Brazilian wax kit which comes with little oils and things to make it fairly pain free. I'll see if I can find a link for you...

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 23/01/2017 17:50

No they book a bikini wax presumably - bikini line isn't too shocking is it?

AyeAmarok · 23/01/2017 17:50

Yes, I do.

Using the Nads microwavable hot wax (so not strip wax).

Easy peasy.

teachergirl2011 · 23/01/2017 17:51

Oh dear god, I'm not some shrinking violet! Should I rewrite the title
Does anyone wax their own vulva?

This kit OP. It comes with pre epilation oil and some after waxing slow grow stuff, and a few wooden spatulas for application too. It really is fab.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 23/01/2017 17:53

OP, as someone once so rightly put it- welcome to the most joyless sex topic ever HmmGrin

GizmoFrisby · 23/01/2017 18:03

We call it a flossy in our house Grin I trim and shave

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 23/01/2017 18:08

Brings new meaning to 'Have you flossed your teeth?"Grin

empirerecordsrocked · 23/01/2017 19:00

It's a woof in our house, make if that what you wil😂

DumpedAbroad · 23/01/2017 19:02

God no. I couldn't. Go on groupon. They always have deals. Not worth the trauma to DIY!
