Vagina appearance

Have name changed for this.
Are you ladies 'happy' with the appearance of you're vagina?
I'm 24 and a size 8-10 but I feel like a have fat around my vagina (where the pubes are) if that makes sense. So if I was to wear a bikini I would look like a had a fat one. My actual bits look ok. Just the area around seems quite fat and puffy.
Makes me quite self conscious.
Thoughts?

Fat around your vagina?
If you didn't have a bit of padding it would be very uncomfortable sitting down!

SpookyPotato · 22/09/2016 21:48

That's normal! Your FUPA- fat upper pubic area Grin I've always had fat there even when I was very slim.

BeverlyGoldberg · 22/09/2016 21:50

I've heard it all. "Does my fanny look fat in these pubes"?

Heratnumber7 · 22/09/2016 21:55

You can't actually see your vagina. It's inside you.
If you didn't have fat in your vulva/pubic hair area you wouldn't be able to sit down.

I can assure you when I'm going down on a woman, I don't tend to think about the appearance and if I do it's always positive just because it's HERS. And she is someone special since I've chosen to be with her in that way :)

ZappDingbat · 24/09/2016 15:08

Velour...
I wish we had a like button just for your post! I say that as someone who is overweight, and just starting a relationship. I had a long drought while I pulled myself together after an abusive relationship, where I apparently repulsed him.

Now my train of thought is more, "If you don't like it, you don't deserve it!" but in my less confident moments, I doubt myself. Comments like yours are refreshingly reassuring. The man I have started seeing treats me in a way that makes me feel, he thinks in a similar way to you.

PenileImplant · 24/09/2016 15:12

Do people need to be rude? "Someone needs a biology lesson ' Hmm how is that helpful?

Op seriously, it's a fanny, it sounds perfectly normal and tbh like you're looking for problems. If a man had any kind of issue with it it would be a very clear indicator that he a) spends an inordinate amount of time looking at porn (and you don't need that kind of hassle anyway) and b) is just a cock.

I mean have you really looked at a penis lately? Do you think men worry if there is a bit of fat around their dicks?

NameChange30 · 24/09/2016 17:00

It's not rude to point out the truth. If an adult woman doesn't know that the vagina is internal (and therefore doesn't have an "appearance"), the vulva is external and the "fat bits" are labia, she needs a biology lesson.

gamerchick · 24/09/2016 17:04

OP you're supposed to have a bit of fat there. Leave it alone and stop poking at it.

ffon · 24/09/2016 17:08

That's the mons pubis and is a fatty pad. You will find it comes in handy whilst having penis in vagina sex in some positions as it acts as a cushion and stops the bump and grind being too grindy.
Smile

ffon · 24/09/2016 17:24

Having read op more attentively....it might just be your vulva. And yes, it's meant to be padded.

McBassyPants · 25/09/2016 10:15

Oh Emma, you started so well stoking the sanctimonious bullshit and nit picking. Then you described the "fat bits" as Labia Sad I think you may find (as mentioned by another poster) the fat bit is in fact the Mons Pubis.

So close yet so far. Epic fail Blush Wink

McBassyPants · 25/09/2016 10:17

And OP, it sounds perfectly normal (whatever normal means). Every fanny looks different, it's your's, learn to love it as I'm sure any man lucky enough to get near it will

Mrsderekshepard · 25/09/2016 10:19

I know what you mean, I feel the same way about mine.
No need to be rude emma. We can't all be perfect Hmm

NameChange30 · 25/09/2016 10:20

McBassy LOL, well it depends whether the OP is actually referring to her labia or mons pubis when she says "fat bits", this is why a basic biology lesson would be so useful Wink

NerrSnerr · 25/09/2016 10:22

Oh for fucks sake, we all knew what the OP meant by vagina, there is no need to say stupid things
Iike 'someone needs a biology lesson'.

OP I think most people have fat down there, I really isn't think anyone would notice in a bikini.

NameChange30 · 25/09/2016 10:25

I knew what the OP meant, I just think it's a shame that adult women don't understand the basic terminology to describe their own bodies.

McBassyPants · 25/09/2016 10:27

No no, I think it's quite apparent from the original post that she means her Mons Pubis around my vaginal (where the pubes are) kinda gives it away. There is no mention of lips or around the opening or poking out as you'd expect from a labia POV. Sorry, I think you were just being unnecessarily catty and mean but badly

NameChange30 · 25/09/2016 10:33

"Around my vagina (where the pubes are)" is not clear, and that was my point.

gamerchick · 25/09/2016 10:42

The point is that we need a bit of fat there or fucking someone would get mighty uncomfortable after a spell Wink

Why be so rude and angry 'crazy' Hmm
Emma wasn't being rude (unlike you).
Why shouldn't women be expected to describe their own anatomy clearly?? It's important. Can you imagine a man getting the words for his cock and his balls muddled up?? Go figure.
I have reported your 'play in the traffic' post. Have a nice day.

NerrSnerr · 25/09/2016 11:39

Why should women be 'expected' to describe their anatomy in any way? People should be able to describe things in whatever way they feel comfortable.
