You can't post here til you've been a member for three months, which is a good compromise, I think.

MN can't censor what people want to talk about. There will be sex here, whether it's in sex or chat.

We are all adults here (I hope). Sex is a big part of life and I don't think we should be afraid to discuss it if we need to.

I like it, I've learned a few things

Why don't you just hide it if you don't like it? Other people obviously find it useful, interesting or entertaining.

Why shouldn't it be? Its Mumsnet. Not all, but most, mums will have got that way by having sex, surely?

Sex is part of normal healthy discussions for adults. Having a topic is a completely natural.

Mumsnet is a site for adults. Most adults have sex. I don't think it's that astonishing that there should be a place to discuss it.

I was all for it at first to keep all the sex chat in one place but I'm not so sure now. There was a thread the other day where one of the regular perverts was telling women how to give blow jobs - creep.

It seems like a logical topic to include given that the whole site is founded on parenting!
