Bless you ( and him). Mine too. Died January 2004. Never even knew I got to have a baby after all my IVF ( plus, he wanted boys, yet got identical twin girls!😈🤦‍♀️.. he’d have loved my two DS and all the laddy stuff ).

Hi my daughter needs 6s to do the a levels she wants, no plan b as she hated the other 6th forms she went to view, slightly terrified and want tomorrow over with

Joining in. Dd1 had her IGCSE & Diploma results on Tuesday, and waiting nervously for the others tomorrow. She's set to go to college for A Levels in September & has worked so hard, so really hoping she gets the results she needs for college

We’re in a similar situation, be nice to see some numbers and not u’s but what will be will be. Heading to enroll at college straight after for a life skills course, aiming for a level of independence at some point.

Hi, yes, me. DS is ASD/ ADHD ( AuDHD), has had bullying through this whole education and we are hoping and praying for 4 Grade 4 ‘s for him to go to college to do Level 3 BTec…. It will be close. I guess you are similar?

Ds2 announces tonight he needs a 7 in Maths aswell, to do PE, Biology and Chemistry. And that he's never actually got a 7 in maths before, always been 1 mark off it.
How did I not know all of this? And finding out last minute? 🙄

Dh took ds2 out again to his massive work site, drove 1/2 a mile, and says that he's a nice little driver, clutch control getting better, too hard on himself. So pleased.

We go to school tomorrow at 9am for the 'Brown envelope'.

Dd told me a couple of evenings ago that maths paper 2 and geography paper 2 were "bad".
She felt most others went ok.

Remember the original “4 x 4” Club in, what was it, the first thread?! I might bastardise some of the left over 80th Confetti balloons I’ve got left over from my Mum’s birthday .. because if DS gets his 4 x 4, I’m sure he won’t stand under the awful one at his school! 🎈💣

I remember the horror we spoke of, with the Maths paper 2 . I’m pretty sure DS is holding out zero hope with Geography paper 2. Mind you, it was paper 1 with the badly worded question re field trip that kicked that all off 🤦‍♀️..

I've found today hard as I do a bit of invigilation at the school and consider the EO a friend now. It's hard knowing she knows!

DC says it's like the day before Christmas or a Birthday, when the day goes so slowly, but perhaps without a nice present at the end.

Anyway, I'm here with my mind whirling around, the most nervous of everyone.

DC needs a 7 in maths and 6's in combined science and DT to carry on with A levels. Haven't made a plan B. But school are great, so I think they'd make one with us tomorrow if necessary.

We are allowed in from 9.30 and traditionally parents go in as well.

I genuinely don't really remember caring like this about my GCSEs. They were back in the 80s and I think they just turned up in an envelope in the post one day. It wasn't until A levels that we went in to collect.

Anyway, sorry for gatecrashing, good luck everyone.
