London grammar and private senior school entry 2025

It doesn’t look as though one of these threads has been set up yet so I thought I’d do it.

I have a daughter going into year 6 and a son going into year 8 next month - both will be moving to senior school in 2025.

Yes, I was just going to that . 2 years ago they emailed on the 10th at 7pm. Good luck everyone with this stressful process!

LEH probably ought to be regarded as top tier given they pretty much tied with Guildford on GCSE results in 2024, beating G&L and City.

Speaking of LEH… exam outcomes are due ‘mid-Jan’. Anyone aware of a more specific timing? I’m reading this as any time from tomorrow to the following Friday. Gah.

Not sure if anyone has applied to HABS girls here… but does anyone know when they select girls for interviews… it says from mid Jan! Any previous knowledge would be great also. I’ve been searching the forums and net and can’t find anything 😫

Expect text analysis and vocabulary?!
Your son will be given a short passage to read on arrival, before going into his interview. He will take this passage with him, and then just chat about it with one of our fantastic English teachers.

Any news from Emanuel 11+ anyone yet ?

I am guessing no emails sent today and will be sent tomorrow. A little strange though they said they would email today and tomorrow. 🤔But I think if someone got a yes or no email for interview, we would have heard by now.

I think LEH’s A-level results have been pretty shocking for the last few years.

yep! Did you guys get an invite to any audition/sports thing if you applied for scholarship? We got an invite to the interview but not heard back on the drama scholarship. I'm new to this- my DD is doing 10+ only at Emanuel so this is a bit of a minefield for me. Thanks so much
