Do bexley results come out tomorrow or Tuesday? If they say the results come by the 16th of October does that mean we get them on the 15th of October?

Anyone else finding the wait dreadful?

It really is hard to wait now…! There are murmurs that the schools already have them but not allowed to share. I think the website said we will get results by 17th so I’m thinking it will be with us tomorrow. Some mums have said it’s likely to be with us earlier but as with everything I’m keeping an open mind that it will get to us last thing tomorrow 🤣 best of luck and feeling your pain xx

11plusdrama · 16/10/2023 12:24

Yes schools typically have results ahead of parents that is very common with state grammars.

But yes I feel very sick waiting.

It has been a tough year and I would love a selective pass for my lovely and clever child. I realise that is what every parent going through this wants too!

I take it we can’t call our schools and ask!

Rinse123 · 16/10/2023 14:04

It’s so hard waiting I’m constantly pressing refresh!

historyrepeatz · 16/10/2023 14:14

The results are due tomorrow. There were rumours that they came earlier last year but I checked and they came on the published due date. It is a longer wait than in previous years though.

11plusdrama · 16/10/2023 14:19

Thanks history

I finding this tough.

I need to go do something productive with my time the wait is getting to me badly.

good luck everyone.

I really think if 7000 odd pupils have sat then it will be very tough!!!!

I'm still wondering if I heard that correctly about 7,000 taking it. It's quite a jump. The Beth's head did say that many of those have no intention of trying for a school in a bexley but I'm not sure that helps!

I don't remember feeling like this with my eldest until the actual day when I was refreshing my email constantly! This year I was hoping the people who said the results were expected to come early were right as the wait seems harder.

11plusdrama · 16/10/2023 18:34

I really hope the 7000 is a stretch... yes I can't actually cope. If this is 11 plus how on earth will I cope when GCSE's come around.

So there has been a little update to bexley website where they say results will be emailed by 6 pm on the 17th of October... nail biting stuff!

OP posts:
historyrepeatz · 17/10/2023 09:13

Good luck everyone 🤞🏽

Rinse123 · 17/10/2023 09:27

Yes good luck. Only Bexley would say you can wait up to 6pm on the day. It would be kinder to say 9am we are all very nervous.

Calamansitree · 17/10/2023 10:22

So I reckon 5.59pm then? Nail biting indeed

historyrepeatz · 17/10/2023 10:28

Dd and her friends sat the test a few years ago. We all seemed to get the results just after 11 but I guess with so many people they might come out in batches? All of DD's classmates parents had received theirs long before pick up time. Tbh I'd rather find out after pick up as I think it's awful to know bad news at pick up and for everyone to be asking on the day.

11plusdrama · 17/10/2023 10:31

Yes I think the plan is to get in and away from pick up whatever the results. If my child is lucky enough to pass I don't want to disturb anyone else or make it seem like a big deal.

Even though it is a big deal in terms of school selection.

11plusdrama · 17/10/2023 12:22

I know this is insanity but because the results are not out I am convinced my child is in the did not pass category!

OP posts:
Rinse123 · 17/10/2023 12:26

I do not know anyone in Bexley who has results I think regardless of selective or non selective result they’ll all be sent the same time. Fed up of refreshing my inbox now

11plusdrama · 17/10/2023 12:28

I even send myself dummy messages to check my email is working, then I think will they send them out passes first and then others or will they send by last name?

Also I am thinking that previously the bexley website would have the selective mark and how many children were deemed selective but that is not showing??

I think I need to step away!

historyrepeatz · 17/10/2023 12:32

Dd and her friends have surnames quite far apart but got their emails within ten minutes of each other ( a few years ago). Your email will tell you the pass mark, how many took the test and how many were deemed selective. It will also tell you if you are top 180 and the mark for being in that category.

historyrepeatz · 17/10/2023 12:33

Rinse123 · 17/10/2023 12:26

Same. No one I know has got theirs yet.

11plusdrama · 17/10/2023 12:35

But this is sounding like a bit of a mess up.. Shirley if 7000 students sat they need to start releasing emailing now?

OP posts:
11plusdrama · 17/10/2023 12:35

Surely not Shirley ..

OP posts:
historyrepeatz · 17/10/2023 12:41

I really would have thought somebody would have got theirs by now on here!

Calamansitree · 17/10/2023 13:03

The tension is driving me mad. I'm fairly sure she won't be selective as she didn't complete the test but I just want to know nooooowwww. Lol

11plusdrama · 17/10/2023 13:06

Calamansitree as in didn't enter answers or guessed? I know a child that didn't enter in a section of answers but still got a selective score.. but yes good luck. It is a cruel process and good luck to your daughter.
