Bexley 11 plus results

Do bexley results come out tomorrow or Tuesday? If they say the results come by the 16th of October does that mean we get them on the 15th of October?

Anyone else finding the wait dreadful?

Same, DD didn't finish a few years ago and passed. A friend got top 180 and hadn't answered every question. More worried about DS reading the questions properly and not rushing through.

Nail biting wait for Bexley here too.

What is the maximum score for Bexley?

I really really am so surprised at how tense I am. I have achieved nothing today. Last time around I was all breezy.

Anxiety levels are through the roof.

No one to share this with in real life so just want to thank you all for indulging me. For personal reasons I really hope my child manages to get over the line but if not then that will be fine too. Husband does not get it at all and to me it just shows how unequal the prep was as it fell on me to arrange and manage.

A pass would just add a little bit of light to what has been a tough year.

I so hope you get the results you want. I can’t believe it’s 2pm and we still haven’t heard. I know they have said 6pm but it’s not usual to come out so late I am worried there is a problem and we won’t hear today.

So I am Rinse or there is some element to the results which is unpalatable so they want them issued outside working hours so council staff don't get spammed?? It does not sit well with me.

Obviously I am not coping and thanks everyone for indulging me with my spamming of this thread.

I think it's easier to share this anonymously than irl. It does worry me that no one has reported receiving theirs yet.

Also i have a meeting at 5.30 pm to 7 pm so can't check results easily then!!

I absolutely do think the late outcomes are to stop their staff being bombarded when the results hit. They definitely found out by 2pm
last year but it’s all different this year so I shouldn’t expect there to be similarities. The school organised a disco 4.15 today DD thinks results will come out while she’s in the disco. Whilst I’m sure Bexley Council didn’t say organise a disco and we will send results I can absolutely understand her thought process.

What does it mean by Selective Status: Selective but not in top 180 ?

I believe top 180 definitely get a place. They rest its still down to distance/sibling etc

Not selective here. But she's fine. We have great local schools.

Top180 are guaranteed a place wherever they live. A lot of them don't actually choose schools in Bexley though as they might have applied to super selectives or even for scholarships at private schools.

Hi. Been very long day.. so my child got 213, so out by 1 point :( that's so not fair..
I am just interested where says "The total standardised score is made up of 50% of the verbal score and 25% each of the non verbal and numerical scores. The total score has been rounded down to the nearest whole number." So if I do the maths, my daughters score is 213.75. So shouldn't it be rounded to 214? Or it is not how you do it? Sorry. Very confused mum here

The ‘rounding down’ brings it to 213.

@Yamada the Beth's head gave almost exactly this example when he told us that the council round down. So horrible. Did they send any information about appeals, Would it be possible for you?

The worst thing is that we live 0.4miles from Grammar school..
