A pp mentioned their daughters friends getting mostly 9s and how that can be a little tougher on the friends who don't. This is the situation with my twins:
One twin got 8x9 2x8 (one mark off a 9, which I think is bothering him as he was all 9s in his mocks) and an A in Add Maths. He has always been consistent in his grades.
My other twin got a mixture of 6 to 9 and we are never quite sure what he'll get.
It must be difficult when your brother gets mostly 9s, yet your own results are fantastic in their own right. I was thrilled for him to get the grades he wanted for his A Levels too.
They are at different schools, which helps, as although he was on the 'top tables' in primary, his twin was very much the star there. I have always tried to balance this out (I hope). They also both genuinely celebrate each other's achievements, which makes me very proud as they are always there for each other.
They are doing the same A-Levels (DT1 is doing an extra in further maths) continuing at their different schools. What's sweet is that they are close and that DT1 will always help his brother with study etc.
