DS1 said chemistry was 'fine'.
He is very introverted and likes his own company, which as an extrovert and very social person I sometimes worry about because I can't always understand that he is happy this way (he is and I really try not to inflict my ways). Anyway, what was lovely was that at the weekend he came to the charity Father's Day match and ended up playing in the game and came to the BBQ with friends we had been invited to which was so lovely. Other than eat takeaway we seem to do very little altogether.
He basically revises a few hours the night before the exam and I am leaving him to it. He worked really hard for mocks and works really hard in class.
@folly115 I think you have had some good advice, better than I would be able to offer so just to offer my support and I do agree, if school think she will probably achieve the 4s then it is a pretty likely outcome. I have a DS3 who whilst only 11 based on current levels is going to really struggle in secondary and (if things remain the same) we will possibly be looking at non-A levels and possibly working his way up the BTEC/NVQ levels. Our sixth form has a great Sports Coaching qualification with our local sports centre, but I know these things are few and far between.
