Oh bother it hasn’t reposted the chart in your message - I’m talking about the info you posted on the Ist page of the thread - 2/5/22.

@pkim123 Is that the list of top inflation for just London schools?

No, that table is national, it's not just London.

Has anyone seen a breakdown of a level and gcse exam results for nlcs for 2022 cohort? Website is incredibly vague and just congratulating students but no actual results cited. I am a current parent and have not received any communication from the svhool regarding this years results. All seems a bit odd especially after the recent grade inflation during covid.

I'm an ONL and was wondering the same! DD's current (private) school actually had better results this year than last year!

Xenia · 29/08/2022 18:13

They may have decided given last year's debacle to do san Eton and not release the results other than the IB results where I think they give a bit more detail for 2022 (my daughter went there and it IS a good school, no matter what was done last years badly about TAGs).

Xenia · 29/08/2022 18:13

..last year..

TurquoiseJungle · 29/08/2022 18:47

I think some of the private schools in groups like HMC or GSA all agreed to not release results at this point and be vague.

I noticed a few other top schools who usually give full glowing breakdowns being oddly vague.

That's a good question. Most likely after the national attention they received last year and the head's departure, they are wisely trying to keep a low profile. With the change in head, it might be a good idea to refocus the school on a more well-rounded goal instead of solely exam results.

New head was appointed recently - Vicky Bingham. Anyone have anymore info on the reasons for Sarah Clark’s departure? It was quite sudden and a fair while after the grade inflation so it definitely isn’t just because of that.
