Dear all,
We are waiting for an offer (hopefully 1st preference) for DS secondary school on March 1st. Just wondering what time the offer email comes? We have applied through Croydon council.

If others are affected, hopefully it's just a glitch somewhere rather than an actual problem with my application....though like I said, I have the offer online.

I have a tendency to panic Blush

Motheroftw0 · 02/03/2019 08:08

I didn't get offer email either, however when I accepted the offer that confirmation email came straight away.

@Natuku how did you apply for the secondary? Did you submit a postal application or an online one? I really hope you have managed to get your offer details already

Godd news, Motheroftw0

I haven't got the email yet

Lindy2 · 02/03/2019 08:16

Natuku have you gone online to view your application. It will have an outcome option which will show your school place.
It's the same portal/website you would have selected your school choices on.

Natuku · 02/03/2019 08:18

I filled the form online

BrimfulOfChocolate · 02/03/2019 08:30

Like others in London I haven't had an outcome email yet, I logged on yesterday, accepted the place and got the acknowledgement of acceptance email through immediately. It seems unlikely that their system is capable of pulling back the outcome emails once you have accepted online though!

@Natuku just go online! You need the log in details you used to make the application. Don't waste more time if your son is upset.

Motheroftw0 · 02/03/2019 08:37

@Natuku even if you don't remember your online password, you should simply be able to reset it by giving your registered email address. You would have received a confirmation email when you registered/submitted. Please do not waste anymore time waiting for an email as I don't know anyone he received one! We only received a text message that results are online that too 1.5 hours after we checked the results online!

@motheroftw0
The problem is the login details were in my old damaged phone, and I I changed the email address which I informed the admission department in the council, and they replied to me that the email address has been changed, so I think the only way is call the admission department in the council on Monday

Motheroftw0 · 02/03/2019 13:15

@Natuku I just received an email from the admissions confirming the offer which should have come yesterday. So if council has your changed email address you should be getting one too! Good luck, I really hope you and your son doesn't have to wait until Monday to know the offer.
