March 1st secondary school offer email

Dear all,
We are waiting for an offer (hopefully 1st preference) for DS secondary school on March 1st. Just wondering what time the offer email comes? We have applied through Croydon council.

different places are different times - ours are mid morning we can log on and see them, emails will come out "sometime" tomorrow apparently.

When to expect email for nonsuch and Wellington girls any idea very desperate 😀nothing yet on the application link

Email arrived at 00:39 for Cornish schools.

Nothing yet for Sutton grammar schools

I've got my email, I'm in Worcestershire. It was sent at 1am.

Sutton grammars are in the London system and you won't hear until 5pm (on website) or sometime this evening when your email arrives.

This year of course with the extra fun of 1st March being a Friday... Think it was like this the year my eldest heard. Actually I think it's a good thing. It gives families time to think things over rather than knee-jerk react to an allocation outcome they may initially not be keen on.

Only few hours now!!! The clock is ticking

8.41am mine arrived. We only put one preference (it was a dead cert tbf) so it’s good to have it in black and white.

Ours are 9.30-10ish. I'd presumed that was so kids were safely in school and not distracted by it, but giving parents time to take it all in and decided whether to appeal or not if they didn't get 1st preference (or dash out and buy the tie to wave triumphantly at the school gate at pick-up time if they did)

So gutted we didn't get first choice 😣. DS will be sad

Were you in the catchment? I hope you have been offered your second choice then? There is always hope with waiting list, stay strong and positive. London results- we are still waiting

this wait is making me crazy still no email we are waiting for nonsuch and Wallington high school for girls..

Log in to the Pan-London admissions site, @MRSMYM - you could be waiting for hours if you wait for the email!

Don't worry about email, just log onto the portal and view outcome…

Hey guys I am so stressed up coz I didn't get the email fro e admissions yesterday for my son's secondary school offer.does that mean that no school accepted him?

@Natuku Do you have an online portal to log into? If so it should tell you there.

@Natuku, if you applied online try to log back onto the eAdmission website and the outcome should be there from 5pm. I didn't wait for the email just accepted the offer straight away. Interestingly the accepted offer email came through but till now I haven't seem the outcome email.

Check your spam folder too just in case.

I saw my offer online but still haven't got the offer email. Have you both got yours now or still waiting? I'm also in London.

I still don’t have an email (have checked junk folder) though I’ve seen the result online. I’m also in the pan London system.
