DD home sunbathing after OCR Biology 7 this morning. She said it was ok. She was up until 1 am cramming. 2 more papers to go, nearly there.

DS just did OCR gateway chemistry this morning and said it was really hard. Even his GF said the same and she is a brainbox!

He's now on the PS4, He has lost most of his motivation to revise for his last Physics on Wednesday. I can't blame him - it't too hot to do much at all! But I will gently encourage as it is sooooo nearly over

Thinking of those with dt next week, nearly there!

DS reports OCR Gateway chemistry was the hardest exam so far and his whole year thought the same. OCR physics on Wednesday then breathe....

Bertrand, I'd love to see your reading list when you've finished. DS2 could do with on too!

Good luck to everyone still revising and taking exams in this heat. DS has gone to a trampoline place for a friend's party today and then back to his house I think.

OCR 21st century B7 here this morning. It was "good" except for having to draw tendons apparently. C7 & P7 to go...

poison that's what my DD said. She sat in the exam feeling her own arm lol!

Ds was happy with OCR B7 too. It's been a big learning process for me too. How do I seem smart and get the word eutrophication in a sentence? 😂

Further maths done, she thought it fine others disagreed. Ties and blazers off due to heat.

DD said Chemistry was fine - no idea which exam board, but she's normally good at chemistry.

Just Physics on Friday now.

About 50% common grade boundary for A in Further Maths.

Oh dear. Very little revision gone in for Edexcel Chemistry C3. She too hot and too much to do and has had over 20 exams in the last few weeks and all her best friends have finished and had a pool party without her. I gave up trying to get her to do anything else tonight but she's left a hell of a lot for tomorrow. Any one know any online resources for C3 for cramming?

Anyone else got FSMQ Maths tomorrow (Tues) afternoon? DC1's last one. Been revising hard, but they had no mocks at all so we really have no clue on potential Q styles or a target grade.

Another one here until next Monday (DT Product Design). DD would have finished all exams last Friday if it wasn't for this pesky final one...seems a bit strange to have to sit another exam AFTER her prom this week!

Castle I think someone posted a video earlier in this thread somewhere for quick c2/c3 revision. DD in the same boat, just too hot to revise today after biology. she's worn out. I think she hasn't done enough for c3 at all. She's got all tomorrow to go for it but it'll be hot again...

Bring yes, ds has the Additional maths this afternoon too. He's done loads of past papers though. The last three years have been 59, 68, 67% for an A.

The questions are very straightforward, but like the GCSE. Have a look at www.ocr.org.uk/qualifications/free-standing-maths-qualification-fsmq-additional-mathematics-6993/ for past papers if he has time this morning. (My ds has history which he's much more worried about!)

Ds has his last exam this afternoon. Graphics. He felt it was a long gap since physics last Friday. Feel for those of you going on till next week!

Been lurking for the duration (apart from one comment post wine!) so a big thank you for virtual support and apology for lack of any useful advice through this process. DS just left for the final history paper - v little revision done in this heat - although he has decided he knew what questions were coming up having done an audit of past ones :/ #unlikely!! Last day here too, History (Britain) and Add Maths. At last I can do no more - she wasn't ill, she got there on time, no tears(so far, fingers crossed), big sigh of relief! Next stop August 24th.

Last exam Edexcel history. Saw very little evidence of any revision going on over the past few days but walking with DS to school he seems to know his stuff so fingers crossed. Good luck to DCs who still have exams left - I don't remember it being this drawn out back in my day.... poison and giddy - my dd also sat the same B7 as yours. She said there was a graph and something to do with the harvest cycle - this isn't something they've studied and she doesn't think was on the specification she had.

Bring & Gnome - good luck to your DCs for their exams this afternoon.

DD will do some revision here for chemistry and physics, but I feel the pressure is off now (if only for me). She needs six Bs, ideally As in the subjects she wants to do at A level and she doesn't want to continue with either of these.
