The Lonely Wait for City (boys) result

Anyone want to hold hands while waiting for City offer/rejection ? Feels like everyone else is sorted (bar Westminster - not sure when they are out) and we are the last to hear! How did you all feel the interview went ? My DS was not too happy coming out so if that is a good indication then I should not be holding out too much hope. Did anyone feel it went well ? Any scholarship hopes ? What is it about City that you liked above the others ?

It just says to contact them if we've received an offer from another school but would prefer City. I was told they over offer by about 2.5 so it's impossible really.

Sounds like you would prefer City. l didn't realise they over offer by so much. Why write you such a letter then?

Mandzi34 · 19/02/2016 18:53

Well I like City but to be honest the other offer we have is for a coed and is similar in terms of results so DS is more than happy with that.

I know I agree why write the letter? I know they over offer by a lot so seems pointless. Anyone else have any further information?

They ask for a deposit quite quickly so maybe call the admissions lady (who is lovely) and ask if you are on the waiting list how soon they can tell you. There will be last minute drop outs but that's not a lot of use really.

Thanks originalmavis for the input.

Is anyone on here with a ds heading to City in N.London? Please DM me if you would rather not say which area!
