Oh and DD has predicted herself BBC after looking at the mark schemes. Nervy times. Good Luck everyone's DCs xx

Enjoyed my night out. Tried to sleep and it is hopeless. Roaming the house but at least dd is asleep.

Very puzzled as dd's course is now showing as in clearing on the university website but not on ucas.

Sorry you have had bad news Amazing. Hope tomorrow goes well for your dd.

It doesn't get any easier second time around. Can remember sitting here stressing, checking UCAS and email every two minutes this time last year. Good luck to everyone and hearing all the successes tomorrow.

Thanks Hocus. Wondering whether to get up yet and see if DD awake. Set alarm for 6:30, obviously not needed, despite hitting pillow at 2:30.

Gin I had the impression it could be from 6:30 onwards, by what others have said re previous years.

DD tells me that UCAS track opens at 8.

Already had 2 coffees, done a pile of ironing and made some bread.
Everyone else is asleep despite me pacing around the house

I'm off to make coffee. No point in going back to sleep.

On to second cup of coffee and watching Bake off on the iplayer to try and distract myself.

Morning all. Hopefully we will be put out of our misery in a couple of hours. Had no idea it would be so stressful for the parents! Found lots of notes in dd's room last night with contact details for her firm. She really wants to go there. More than I realised.

Good luck to all DC today. DD still asleep .... Why is it she is asleep and I am wide awake?!!! Even DH is stirring. Roll on 8am for track!

A friend told me her DD got an email from the uni overnight 2 years ago.

Morning all. Looks like I am not the only one to have a sleepless night. Fingers and toes crossed for all your dc today!

Ds has collected his results online- he achieved A* A B which is unfortunately not the AAA Durhan wanted - I guess he now has to wait and see what track do... His insurance will accept him with those grades so if not York it is.

Those are fantastic grades Waiting, well done to him and fingers crossed for Durham ( although we live near York and it's a great place :) )

duffcake we had a friend who's DD received her confirmation from uni before track went live 3years ago...fingers crossed that we will too receive an email from uni but not sure if one will come ARGH!
