American woman living in Bernera is suing the local community run cafe because it would not admit her "emotional support" dog. She is being supported by the Ethnic Minorities Law Centre because Americans are ethnic minorities, and is being funded by Legal Aid. She wants £10k, which would shut them down.

I mean. What the actual fuck. Move to a tiny island with 250 people on it, claim you're being ostracised and harrassed and try to solve that by suing a charity? That'll sort it. And LEGAL FUCKING AID???

I don't think it matters if this person is trans, they are a big enough twat for that to be no almost no importance.
There is a certain type of incomer, who sees their arrival as a huge benefit for the humble savages who live there. They are almost always hugely offended and upset when their huge sacrifice is not recognised or appreciated. Some of them get quite vindictive. I haven't met this person, so I can't say for sure if this is the case, but it is certainly a familiar pattern.
I am also an incomer, and I know that settling into a community so isolated can be tricky, but it can be done and I have been living here happily for 40 years now. Nobody had ever heard of me before, of course, but I haven't heard a single bad word about Fish from Marillion either, but then to my knowledge he hasn't sued anyone.

This is a person who enjoys bullying and dominating others whilst claiming victim status. I feel sorry for the local community having such a person living with them.

I'm sad to see whose daughter she is, I liked Sally Kellerman. She obviously had sadness in her upbringing as her mother had custody taken away after she came out as lesbian (biologically she was Sally Kellerman's niece) but any kind of upbringing is no excuse for this behaviour.
