Peter Murrell is in court in Edinburgh today. This is for the preliminary hearing which was postponed from before the election. It will be interesting to see how the criminal proceedings proceed.

What astonishes me is that NS is appearing, playing herself, in a Sky TV thing. With Michael Gove and others. I am just hoping for a Westminster enquiry to get the actual truth known. Although she will have misplaced the Whatsapp messages, no doubt.

I don't think she does sad. She's not sad for the mess she created here when she was leader, she's not sad for the people who have lost money, she's not sad the party is imploding. She only cares about herself and her standing - nothing else is on her radar.

Yes we saw how quickly the mask slipped in the Laura Kuenssberg interview - it started off all boo hoo, poor me, duped by the man I loved, boo hoo, hard done by Nicola. As soon as Laura K suggested the house might have to be sold to help repay the stolen money the true colours came right out and she was her hard-faced, combatitve self.

She is one of those people who will never, ever admit to doing anything wrong. Ever.
