Surely this will cant happen. How do they expect the average person to be able to afford to install a heat pump in their home. Honestly I despair!

A little bird told me that Patrick Harvie gives the appearance of cycling to the train station on his foldable Brompton bike but actually gets dropped round the corner (down a quiet lane) and then cycles from there!

These aren’t just to help tourist get there, they provide a lifeline to the mainland. Got cancer, you need to get the ferry to the mainland for treatment.

I was shocked at how long it would take to recover the outlay for a heat pump - 36 years !!! I'm in my 50s and not likely to stay in this house as it will be too big for us.
Also curious as to why so many more heat pumps installed in France - wonder if that's because they have more nuclear power stations and energy is state subsidised ?

EDF the French power company own / operate half the UK Nuclear Power stations.

They are indeed cunts, however they control very little that affects day to day life in Scotland. The fuck ups by the SNP and money wasting they do pound for pound affects the Scottish population more as we only have a 10th of the population to spread the shite over.
