Also, Scotland had 38% vote for Brexit with the added disruption of the SNP arguing that if Scotland voted differently to the rest of the UK it would be the material change required to trigger another indyref, so how many people in Scotland who would perhaps have voted Leave during Brexit, actually voted Remain in the hope of triggering another independence referendum. (Sorry, bit convoluted but I know what I mean

)
Ha! Yes, there was that. But then there were also people voting leave on the assumption that Scotland as a whole would vote remain, so if leave won (which their vote would help) it would trigger a referendum on Scotland bring pulled out of the EU against its will.
cunningly avoiding the fact that their vote would make Scotland seem less remain-y than otherwise. No, I don't understand that either, but it was an argument

... probably based on the premise that the UK vote would be more remain-y than it actually was.
And yes, some discussion on what EU membership post brexit would look like is definitely needed, rather than the assumption that Scotland would be welcomed back with open arms and it'll all be like the olden days.
Also, I didn't realise GTA was wings. I really need to be thrown out of Scotland... I don't have a clue who is who!
