Nicola is famously a total control freak, LE is bound to be doing exactly what she’s being asked to do.

As a complete aside, I saw the pictures of NS outside her house and whilst it looks perfectly lovely, I expected something else completely. Like a nice sandstone terrace with some traditional features. I dunno why I thought that tbh. I also saw some photos taken inside I think from about 2012? Again, perfectly pleasant but not my taste and not what I expected.

That's me got that out my head so as you were...

Isn't she rumoured to have bought something rather fancier elsewhere?Wink

I think the internal photos might be their previous house

WaxOnFeckOff · 24/03/2021 11:26

Also, can you imagine being her neighbour and wondering if you can get away with popping out for a bag of apples when you've already been out once that week?

readsalotgirl63 · 24/03/2021 12:06

Yes I looked at the photos and wondered where that is ? Also thought she looked knackered.

readsalotgirl63 · 24/03/2021 12:08

It didn't look as "private" as I'd have expected. Like Wax I'd have thought somewhere more traditional and not so close to neighbours.

ResilienceWanker · 24/03/2021 12:12

I agree. I'd have thought she'd have gone for something more traditionally Scottish! With a big hedge or something to stop people looking in. It must be really weird for her neighbours... Wonder if they have to take in loads of parcels for her.

titsintiers · 24/03/2021 12:42

It's in Bothwell apparently. Woman of the (minted) people.

Ianrankinfan · 24/03/2021 13:13

Wondering if she has 2 houses ? One for the cameras and a more private one . She has a big detached sandstone house in Bothwell .

annabelindajane · 24/03/2021 13:57

Hope LEvans has a thick skin as SNP have just offered opposition a loaded gun for the elections . Still got some popcorn....

And another thing . What happened to the women who “ lied” or exaggerated their claims so much the jury found them unbelievable?

annabelindajane · 24/03/2021 14:00

She’s supposed to have a very nice house elsewhere in Scotland which she has bought with a close friend - if you believe the New Town chat -

ATieLikeRichardGere · 24/03/2021 14:07

Does anyone have a strong conviction or knowledge about whether there’s genuinely anything behind that story of the new house? I feel like it can’t be true. But then it’s almost weirder that no one dares talk about it!

StatisticallyChallenged · 24/03/2021 14:10

The one she's supposedly bought from a famous mammy?

DivGirl · 24/03/2021 14:13

That’s the one I’ve heard of. There’s an excellent fish and chip shop nearby, wonder if she’s tried it.
MuffinsandBrownies · 24/03/2021 14:31

Bidey-in ?

derxa · 24/03/2021 15:10

I was chatting about that very thing with my shepherd yesterday. i won't repeat the rest of the conversation as it was a bit rude.

Now I’m more confused!

Craig Murray has taken his blog down.

Now I’m more confused!

Craig Murray has taken his blog down.

His hearing is tomorrow isn't it? Maybe he's been advised that a cessation of blogging activity will play well
StatisticallyChallenged · 24/03/2021 15:43

Have I understood correctly that he hasn't actually been told he's been found guilty?

ATieLikeRichardGere · 24/03/2021 15:50

I think you’re right - as he has been summoned tomorrow he assumes he has been found guilty, otherwise the judgment would simply be published.

Blurberoo · 24/03/2021 16:00

Alex Salmond has made his statement wingsoverscotland.com/time-to-shine-a-light/ He’s going to the police to make a complaint about the leak to the Daily Record and a separate case over the conduct of Lesley Evans ‘I have therefore taken legal advice and will shortly be instructing my lawyers to bring proceedings in the Court of Session arising as a direct result of the conduct of the Permanent Secretary. I hope it is the only legal action that I am required to take.’

Blurberoo · 24/03/2021 16:01

Sorry he’s going to court re LE

OP posts:
StatisticallyChallenged · 24/03/2021 16:03

That's my understanding re Murray. He was told that if it was not guilty he'd just be told but a hearing would suggest guilty, and he's been called to a hearing.

StatisticallyChallenged · 24/03/2021 16:06

I wonder what he'd actually going to pursue re LE - ie what the actual case will be. It's not clear to me yet. I note the warning shot re potential other cases

Blurberoo · 24/03/2021 16:12

Yes and public exposure of all the suppressed evidence thus far
‘I have complete faith in the outcome of that Court process, coming as it does with all the proper powers of recovery of documents and thus the ability to properly interrogate those individuals responsible, the absence of which so restricted the Parliamentary Committee.’
