Yes Streisand effect on the Reddit thing for me - had never heard that story. What an incredibly sad and awful story.

You need a slightly smaller fence in front of a larger one, sorted.

good shout - levels and layering is the way to go.

@ClarkeGriffin

I truly hate Nicola bitchface after this whole shit story.

Shes got her dim-witted followers going round Facebook telling people that she wasn't found to have broken ministerial code or misled the investigation. One might be true, but the other certainly isn't. But now it's just like a fake news story. The idiotic, brainless snp followers will believe it and follow along like the sheep they are. She's no better than trump now for this.

Besides, she god damn well definitely did know about it all. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a complete moron. It's bad enough slimy salmond got let off with it all, now she's got away with it too. It's disgusting and the worst thing is she's a woman. She has betrayed women in scotland. How can anyone think they will be believed when their own first minister lies about this shit?

I hope if she gets her way and gets another independence vote that she loses hard. But will she accept that? Doubtful. She doesn't give a shit about any of us. She's ruined education, she's ruined health, more people have died under her watch and she doesn't care about it. Wish she would just go and fuck off to another country.

Sorry for the rant, I'm a tad angry about it.

Wow.

This gave me a laugh if nothing else.

anon444877 · 23/03/2021 21:06

Harvie standing up for women after forcing Wightman out over female rape victims - credible, oh yes I'd trust that man. Not.in.a.million.years.

And I'd love to be able to vote for a Green Party that wasn't an SNP stooge.

titsintiers · 23/03/2021 21:07

Actually @RedactedTaeFeck get a tiered fence. Levels 0-4 if you like?

Blurberoo · 23/03/2021 21:14

Not just Reddit that the Challenors have influenced- David Challenor invented the ‘terf-blocker’ to mass block feminists on Twitter. They’ve had a serious influence on online discourse.

@ClarkeGriffin
That made me laugh, you are truly having a bad Unionist day aren’t you Grin
One wonders how you can insult the intelligence of all SNP supporters in one clear swoop while foaming at the mouth.
Away and have a wee lie down and wrap yourself up in your Union flag.

WouldBeGood · 23/03/2021 22:15

@RedactedTaeFeck

Just seen Patrick Harvie described as a “woman hating potato” on Twitter 😂😂

Very apt.

sorry just catching up - @ResilienceWanker - totally agree with what you posted at 13:50 as that describes it exactly.

I would describe myself as left of centre but I was appalled at the shambolic state of Labour in Scotland and then even more appalled by Jeremy Corbyn/John McDonnell so voted SNP. However I'd also describe myself as a feminist and GRA and treatment of anyone who dares to challenge this nonsense is sickening.
I also fail to see how we can judge government on education if they won't publish the OECD report - the refusal to do so makes me think it is worse than awful.
So yes this debacle is the final straw. Dsis lives in Italy - I've frequently sniggered at the rank corruption she encounters and accepts as part of life and now I am mortified that here is every bit as bad !

*Report on education

Signed the person who did it.*

Or will someone at a high level in government forget they've received it ? Report ? What report ?

readsalotgirl63 · 23/03/2021 22:41

Education, what education? Scotgov recused themselves from that in 2020, any failings should be directed to parents. Another glorious victory for "she who must be obeyed" huzzah! huzzah!

Nothing to see here folks - kindly move along.

When Nicola appears dh does Officer Barbrady from Southpark "Respect my authority"

TheShadowyFeminist · 24/03/2021 08:26

If this isn't indicative of poor leadership, I give up.

"Leslie Evans has Nicola Sturgeon's full confidence and will not be resigning, says Scottish Government"

A leader who cannot or will not sack someone for the incompetence demonstrated by Leslie Evans should step down. I know she won't but she should.

RonSwan · 24/03/2021 08:42

”Leslie Evans has Nicola Sturgeon's full confidence and will not be resigning, says Scottish Government

Amazing. I do think the lack of ANY scalps for this preposterous show of incompetence (at best) and corruption (at worst) will be their downfall. Surely everyone can see how utterly hopeless LE is. And Peter Murrell? He is like some cartoon villain...I’m oddly confident in the common sense of voters...yes there will always be the noisy do or die Indy nationalists who will overlook such behaviour, indeed revel in it and Twitter about it till their hearts content. But most normal people...can they really be fooled? I guess we will see in the election.

Blurberoo · 24/03/2021 08:48

I predict lots of sitting on hands rather than voting in the election and some protest voting- but what more can be done? She seems to be bulletproof! I think lots of duplicitous folk in the party would turn on her if she was weakened but that doesn’t look likely til at least after the election.

OP posts:
StatisticallyChallenged · 24/03/2021 08:49

I find the loyalty to, and confidence in, Leslie Evans utterly incomprehensible.

Unless she was instructed to be obstructive and incompetent of course.

ResilienceWanker · 24/03/2021 09:25

I can't believe the reports are being taken as vindication of NS, LE, LL, PM et al! As I read them, both ripped the entire cabal to shreds. OK, Hamilton found there wasn't actually a breach of the ministerial code, but he was hardly complimentary as to how the whole thing was handled, and definitely thought there needs to be consideration as to how SpAds and the civil service fit into everything when the code is reviewed and revised. The fact no one has the self awareness or decency to step down, even if not pushed in that direction, is astonishing. But, hey, I suppose I'm not actually that astonished. We can't do anything about it as they will still get voted in, cos FREEEEEDOMMMM. Parliament isn't willing to do anything about it (even if they can... the committee didn't seem to think they had the power to insist on changes). So they're just waiting it out, a la Margaret Ferrier and hoping everything dies down before the next term. Angry

In more important news, I've just noticed that as well as a dalek, PH seems to have a wine shelf behind him. But it only has about 2 bottles of wine on it, and space for maybe 4. What kind of miserable fuck only has space for 4 bottles of wine in their house? (unless he actually has a wine cellar and that is just where they go when they are breathing?)

WaxOnFeckOff · 24/03/2021 09:36

Doesn't having "full confidence" in someone usually mean their arse is halfway out the window? Maybe not in this case it seems.

Blurberoo · 24/03/2021 09:50

@WaxOnFeckOff haha yes ‘full confidence’ is usually the kiss of death but given LE’s pay rise and extended contract... full confidence in her that she will carry out dirty work and stay schtum about it is more likely! It’s a bad look, though.

OP posts:
WaxOnFeckOff · 24/03/2021 10:01

It is a very bad look, I wish more people cared.

Ha! Yes, good point. That usually works on about a 24hr delay I think, so I won't give up hope til this evening...
StatisticallyChallenged · 24/03/2021 10:23

Normally I'd agree but this seems a bit different - as PP said the fact that her contract has been extended already while this is going on doesn't bode well.

I'm not normally a "heads must roll" for every mistake kind of person, but this isn't an error, or poor training - it's a catalogue of problems which largely go back to a small group of people.
