@Cocacola12 I'm assuming that will fall in with indoor leisure. I think it's utterly shit. It's still 6 weeks until anything of note opens other than hairdressers tbh

RaindropsSplashRainbows · 16/03/2021 14:46

Sorry for the parents of toddlers.Flowers

(Maybe on a slightly bright side we'll have the toughest, most outdoorsy generation of
little kids coming up.)

Peppafrig · 16/03/2021 14:47

Guess the garden centers are going to be our entertainment during Easter holidays .

Cocacola12 · 16/03/2021 14:54

She keeps saying she has prioritised schools re opening - how she can stand there an claim that is frankly astounding. Some of my friends kids are in school 1hr30 mins a week!!

RaindropsSplashRainbows · 16/03/2021 14:55

Yes it's very limited time in-school. It's better than nothing but still hardly a proper reopening.

anon444877 · 16/03/2021 15:03

So travel ban lifted 26 April, indoor play dates 17 may, having grown ups round early June?

That's something!

RaspberryCoulis · 16/03/2021 15:04

As expected then. No changes to the original plans, but dressed up as "St Nicola the Beneficent, Granter of all things Good", isn't she wonderful, we can all go to the sodding garden centre.

Again level 1 and level 0 touted as "normal". No mention of ditching the bastard masks.

anon444877 · 16/03/2021 15:08

still some uncertainty looking at the wording - UK travel as soon as possible after 26 April is a firm commitment to nothing except travel in Scotland by 26. International travel unlikely for a while after May 17.

So perhaps not that great on the travel front. If you've got a Scottish holiday booked 26 April on you are going to make that by the looks of it.

StatisticallyChallenged · 16/03/2021 15:16

@Cocacola12

Soft play? Toddler groups? Nothing to do with under 3’s except go to the park...
Ah ffs

My two year old has never even been to sodding soft play.

jabbathebutt · 16/03/2021 15:26

I can't lip read through a mask or social distance. I have multiple disabilities. I haven't even had my sodding jag yet.

There is no normal for me.

I live in fear that my employer might change their WFH til 2022 approach based on what NS says because that will just be a nightmare for me.

snowcoveredcampsies · 16/03/2021 15:30

There's a number to phone if you think you've been missed out vaccine wise.

Just going by who's been vaccinated now if you have multiple disabilities I would assume you should have been done.

frasersmummy · 16/03/2021 15:35

Did we get a date for indoor sports for kids.. My teen is desperate to get back to basketball

jabbathebutt · 16/03/2021 15:40

I can't phone as I'm deaf. DH has phoned for me and gets the same answer, that I will be contacted when it is "my turn".

Yet he's getting his jag next week at 39 and perfectly healthy.

UnderHisAye · 16/03/2021 15:43

@jabbathebutt I would email Nicola Sturgeon with that - she did say a few weeks ago to do so if you weren't getting anywhere with the helpline.

RaindropsSplashRainbows · 16/03/2021 15:52

Have you already had a look at NHS Inform missing appointments page online? There's a form you can fill in for some health boards.

Otherwise Nicola Sturgeon sounds good!

snowcoveredcampsies · 16/03/2021 15:57

@frasersmummy may17th I think

snowcoveredcampsies · 16/03/2021 15:58

God where do you live? That's amazing! 39! I would be emailing nicks sturgeon as well. If you're in an authority that's already on to healthy 39 year olds and you have several disabilities and haven't been done then there's clearly something wrong!
jabbathebutt · 16/03/2021 16:04

Bit reluctant to land my GP in it as he has been amazing re: my mental health (long story). I am surprised, considering he said I'm vulnerable, that I haven't had the jag but I'm not sure if this is his fault or higher up though.

UnderHisAye · 16/03/2021 16:05

Who cares?! Get yourself protected woman!

latissimusdorsi · 16/03/2021 16:15

@jabbathebutt just phone the vaccination line and say you've been missed. One of my colleagues has had his spleen removed and hadn't been called. GP surgery confirmed he should have been so advised him to just ring up and he got the jag last Friday!

jabbathebutt · 16/03/2021 16:17

what's the jag number?

Icannever · 16/03/2021 16:21

Weddings allowed up to 50 people but with no alcohol! That’s going to go down well in Scotland!

WaxOnFeckOff · 16/03/2021 16:21

34.5k first jab and almost 9k 2nd @jabbathebutt

latissimusdorsi · 16/03/2021 16:22

@jabbathebutt

what's the jag number?
What area do you live in?
jabbathebutt · 16/03/2021 16:22

I meant to phone @WaxOnFeckOff Grin
