I've kind of listened along to a lot of the testimony (not all by any means) but I don't think NS is coming across very well at all. She doesn't sound very sincere to me, is deflecting a lot (and forgetting the word 'allegedly' when talking about the complaints surprisingly often for a lawyer), and the frequent little laughs just seem inappropriate. More importantly, she's not presenting much of substance - whereas everything AS said was backed up by documentary evidence (and he was much more measured in his tone) the evidence seems very much against NS. It still seems clear from the evidence that she's misled parliament on several occasions, and while I'm willing to believe that the whole case was a shambles because of incompetence rather than conspiracy per se, they do appear to have tried to cover it up. The incompetence and the cover up should also be grounds for resignation in their own right, even if there is no convincing evidence of a conspiracy against AS.
I'm also getting really sick of the suggestion that this should all be excused because harassed women will find it harder to come forward now. This is exactly why this should have been by the book from the beginning.
