Yeah I had a real head-spin moment about the schooling. It was when someone on here said they wouldn't be back until August. I don't think I'd really thought about that possibility until I saw it written down, and then if it's like this winter numbers will go up again and none of our DCs will ever receive an education or normal childhood.

That's why I'm so upset about what appears to be a slightly ambivalent attitude about the vaccine in Scotland. Certainly doesn't seem to be the urgency in getting it out that there is in England. The only immovable date in the calendar are the Scottish elections ,everything else - schools, hospitality, meeting one's own relatives- is nebulous and uncertain. Good to know what the priorities are.

@Lockdownbear there are very serious allegations of a conspiracy against him. There’s a massive faction fight going on, and alleged super injunctions by the SNP to curtail information, as well as having to be compelled to lodge documents/appear at hearings/ appear again as all so dodgy.

It’s fascinating, though murky. It’s also all tied up with the attempts to get shot of Joanna Cherry as she’s in the Salmond/MacCaskill faction. It’s like the Tudor court, with power being fought over tooth and nail.

Rookie I do believe kids will be back in school before August. The virus levels have to drop naturally in spring, plus the vaccine.

No way can kids school could be reduced to one term a year.

England and NI are both off to 8th March.
Wales are looking to get youngest kids back 22nd Feb, but extending lockdown.

Is Scotland going to have even the youngest back mid Feb?

I've asked work about unpaid leave, furlough and been given a big fat No. Looks like I'll need to call in mums help.

A journalist dug up an interview from donkies ago where she said that they talked politics at home all the time.

He's in hot water as well. So basically the gist as far as I can make out was that AS may be a bit on the touchy side or may be a bit more than that. Allegedly NS and PM and friends of NS all contrived to get more series charges brought against AS which would end his career, potentially put him in jail and on the sex offenders register. To make sure something stuck, they allegedly encouraged the CPS to add in smaller charges that they thought the court would compromise on finding guilty even if the allegedly fabricated ones failed.

Lots of messages over WhatsApp etc in groups between folk and people approached and encouraged to go to police.

There is obviously something that they are trying to hide as it doesn't show in a good light, whether it's enough to prove the allegations or not, obviously we have no idea, but you can see the stress on NS in particular and the hurry to try to deflect and discredit others.

I've got the popcorn out.

nothing like a murky orgasm to brighten up a friday evening...

It's like the Watergate scandal in tartan technicolour.

I mean I know I don't like the SNP but actually I'm finding that is a bit of a side issue in my head, I'm just more interested in watching it all play out - I'm no expert so just picking up the overall story without a mastery of the intricacies or legal system and it's like watching House of Cards or something but you can't binge the episodes to see what happens in the end.

I'm wrestling with what levels of alleged facts may be untrue. I can quite believe that there was an unwritten rule not to allow females to be alone with AS due to what friends with previous access to him have said. But now I'm wondering if that was an overstatement?
