This is an ongoing thread for Scottish mumsnetters - or indeed non Scottish mumsnetters such as myself, to comment on ongoing covid matters pertinent to ourselves, in a hopefully not too partisan and friendly fashion.

It looks like an infection or allergic reaction rather than an injury to me but what do I know. He's not feeling great but not covid not well, if that makes sense. He was told it should be about an hour so hopefully not too long.

I don't really enjoy driving in the dark especially down the country road bits.

Dinnafashyersel · 27/11/2020 22:04

Ah man Wax that absolutely sucks for a Friday night. Is that the arm your DH broke before? I have pins in one of mine from 20 years ago. It still swells up if I carry too much shopping - a woman's burden 'n all that.

Hope you're both home safe and sound soon.

WaxOnFeckOff · 27/11/2020 22:07

I had planned to finish off my shopping tonight but at least I'd updated my shopping order for food before we left.

WaxOnFeckOff · 27/11/2020 22:09

It was his hand he broke while carrying a shoulder injury 😂😂 but yes same arm. It's swollen and mottled from shoulder to now big fat sausage fingers.

WaxOnFeckOff · 27/11/2020 22:10

Sorry to hear about your messages arm.

On the 12th day of Christmas Wee Nippy sent to me
12 months of misery
11 softplays shutting
10 pubs a closing
Nine highstreets dying
Eight person limits
Seven day case average
Six kids clapping carols
Five bloody tiers
Four sets of rules
Three households max
Two metre distance and
A lecture about killing grannies

WaxOnFeckOff · 28/11/2020 09:33

Thanks folks. Not heard anything yet but he was struggling for a signal last night. Sure that no news is good news and I'll get a call at some point to collect him.

StatisticallyChallenged · 28/11/2020 09:43

Have yourself a crappy little Christmas
Let your day be shite
From now on your family will be out of sight

Have yourself a shitty little Christmas
Make sure no one stays
From now on
Your friends must stay 6 feet away

Here we are, not like olden days
Crappy 'rona days, ho ho
Tier 4 friends who are dear to us
Don't come near to us, hell no!

One day soon
A few might meet together
If the rules allow
Show a covid test to prove you're plague free now

So have yourself a shitty little Christmas
Have yourself a lonely little Christmas
Have yourself a crappy little Christmas now

WouldBeGood · 28/11/2020 09:52
