Here is some info from a trusted source about the plan for Scotland.
Even if we are tier two for Xmas, that's still not great.

I dont think level 2 includes home visits?

Ffsnosexallowed · 17/11/2020 21:00

Level 2 doesn't allow home visits.

Horehound · 17/11/2020 21:04

That's why I said it's not great! That's what's looking like our best deal for Xmas...

Scotgov have quite strongly confirmed that level 4 is for 3 weeks and level 2 doesn't allow socialising in the home

39weekswithno2 · 17/11/2020 21:15

The punctuation and spelling mistakes on the document really don't lend it any credence to be honest.

39weekswithno2 · 17/11/2020 21:16

I'm sure some areas moved from 3 to 2 earlier as well

LargeProsecco · 17/11/2020 21:18

I've seen this before & reckon it's fake - the "r" is reproduction. Not rating. Lots of other errors too.

MichelleScarn · 17/11/2020 21:20

My thoughts too!
Scotslassie1 · 17/11/2020 21:20

Yes, grammar's terrible.

Direwolfwrangler · 17/11/2020 22:59

There are spelling and grammar errors in that screen grab. The information also does not match the current guidance for the levels re household visiting.

DumplingsAndStew · 17/11/2020 23:44

What is your trusted source?

Horehound · 18/11/2020 00:34

I'm not saying who my source is in case they get into trouble but you'll just have to trust me!
The sheet is a mock up to give to a political editor so it's not an official document that's not meant to look pretty.

@largeprosecco I'd be interested to know where you've seen this before because I really doubt it. Have you got a link or something?

OP posts:
Horehound · 18/11/2020 00:36

Level two does allow visiting someone's home just not inside it :p

Horehound · 18/11/2020 00:37

We'll all be having Xmas din dins on the patio!

OP posts:
LargeProsecco · 18/11/2020 06:44

It was circulating on social media on Monday - not exactly the same wording but pretty much the same phrasing eg hospitality footfall.

We all reckoned it wasn't official.

Horehound · 18/11/2020 08:08

@LargeProsecco haha it doesn't matter what you reckon. I know where this one came from and I'm telling you it's reliable!
For whatever reason people just don't like to believe it. Maybe in denial...

OP posts:
DumplingsAndStew · 18/11/2020 08:11

I still doubt how "reliable" a document can be when its peppered with errors. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Redglitter · 18/11/2020 08:17

Its hardly reliable when it's already been made clear that the tier 4 lockdown is only until Dec 11. And its not being introduced on Tuesday. It was announced on Tuesday and is being introduced on Friday.

OllyBJolly · 18/11/2020 08:27

Have you read some of the consultations that come out of the Scottish Government? Grin.

I doubt its authenticity but not because it's badly written.

39weekswithno2 · 18/11/2020 08:30

Op.... did you actually watch the news yesterday? Your reliable document is wrong.

Home visiting rules for levels 3&4 are the same as they are at level 2 so what would the relaxation be?

All other levels stay at 'there' current level except NE moving to level 3? .... nowhere moved to level 3 yesterday as far as I can remember

All level 3 areas will stay in that band until January? ... a couple of level 3 places moved to level 2 yesterday

What's a Rating number?

LizzieMacQueen · 18/11/2020 08:32

I saw similar on Twitter too.

It's not much of an incentive to comply with T4 now only relaxing at Xmas, if that relaxing is still max 6 from 2 and outdoors. C. R. A. P.

SlantyBaws · 18/11/2020 08:34

Are you my mum, because she shared the same bullshit on Monday citing "trusted source".

RaspberryCoulis · 18/11/2020 08:34

There's no plan. Don't be so silly. It's going to be whatever Sturgeon thinks will get her most votes in May.

Redglitter · 18/11/2020 08:35

Id also imagine any kind of official source/document would also know that the R (number) doesn't stand for Rating 😂

Horehound · 18/11/2020 09:47

Actually, I wouldn't. These people are not exactly the brains of Britain as much as we want then to be.

Anyhoo, I know the source and I trust them but I'm not saying who it is just to satisfy you. :)

This was sent on Sunday so when it says Tuesday they just mean the announcement.
And I imagine the relaxation means more like something of a level 1 on the 25th and 26th and the rest of the time maybe the tier 3 and 4s could be reduced to tier 2.

But anyway. Time will tell for all the naysayers on here.

Fa la la la laaaa

I hope you get the Christmas you want. Halloween Smile
