At least a foot here in Glasgow, have never seen anything like it in the 11 years we've lived here.

Thinking back to my childhood in the east of Scotland I remember snow, but nothing this bad.

How long is it all going to take to thaw???

FFS. We have heavy snow again in Livingston. Been going for the last 45 minutes and is lying. I just took the DC to their school bus- at least DH is at work today so if it doesn’t change to rain and they get stranded, he can go rescue them. Grin

DH is working in Midlothian and has sent some photos through. It's quite scary when you look at it!

Wicked I'm meant to be heading to the vet in Livingston with a rescue cat from Edinburgh soon, I should cancel, shouldn't I?

Veterinari · 06/03/2018 09:05

Yes cancel unless it’s urgent. Traffic out of Edinburgh is awful

WickedGoodDoge · 06/03/2018 09:05

chemenger It’s slowing down now and is supposed to turn to rain so if your car is OK in snow, you’re probably OK. It’s lying but is very slushy.

WickedGoodDoge · 06/03/2018 09:06

Oooops, or listen to Veterinari for what it’s like in Edinburgh!

This is our estate right now.

FFS snowing heavily again.

chemenger · 06/03/2018 09:46

I've cancelled. I'm beginning to think this cat is controlling the weather.

WickedGoodDoge · 06/03/2018 09:51

Good. Was just going to post that am now down at Livvy centre and the roads are not good! Worse than I thought!

It took DC two hours to get to school this morning. It’s now turned to light rain and the snow is rapidly washing away, thankfully!
