little value on sex

I have often wondered this.
Its not something that is new, ive always felt that way. Sex is great, its the most fun thing, and i really enjoy it, but it is, just sex.

Its not a big deal. I have no emotional ties to it.

Speaking frankly to a new boyfriend over the last couple of weeks, ive realised my attitude is quite unusual and i wonder why im this way.

Oh I'm very much in favour of people having the sort of sex that suits them (and whoever they are having it with.)

Custardo, I do understand it! I discovered I'm not that great at seperating feelings & fanny though - to the extent that I'll rustle up some feelings if I have to, in order to improve my experience. I can remove my feelings from it afterward, though - conveniently.

I wouldn't bother these days, but can't say whether that's just because I'm on antidepressants. Once I'm healthy again, I may well turn into into one of those scary, shag-mad old ladies

im not asigning right or wrong to it - just that i don't understand it.

I feel the same re sex is not love etc- but when explaining to dd and ds what do we say ...!!!!!the thing is i thought you had to say wait for someone you love etc to children - when in reality it was my hormones i think that made me have sex with my lovely ist boyfirnd many moons ago..This thread has really helped me by the way as i feel like this but did not know others felt same way !!!thanks op and others!1 xx
