Total rubbish posted here about Polys!

Most the stuff I have read here posted by Polys is total crp. They are no more Polys than I am the next PM! Glad to see that the troll concerned was outed. Yes BTW most female polys are indeed bisexual so the poster who wrote that at least knew what they* were talking about!

I live in a four way poly relationship. No farm, no barns, no Dower house (WTF!!) just an ordinary Victorian house in the UK midlands.

PMSL peppermintpasty

moondog · 18/04/2010 18:23

yaaaaaawn

I am so over poly dollies.

TruePoly · 18/04/2010 18:41

I started the thread simply because what had been written about a particular lifestyle choice was so wrong it was like a bad joke.

It suits us, it might not suit you. There is plenty on the Net if you are interested in the truth. Being a Poly has good and bad aspects but it is a pretty stable way to live IMO.

Rather tricky for the children but then so are the marital breakups I have read about on this site.

Sorry, have I missed something?

NomDePlume · 18/04/2010 18:50

OP, no one on here cares what you and your 'husbands' and 'wife' get up to. Really. No one.

Like other people have said, there have been documentaries about it, endless websites and articles in magazines/newspapers, so if people want to research it they can.

The rubbish spouted by the person OP is on about was spouted in August 2009. We've moved on since then. Get with the programme.

Polygamy is having more husbands than you really need. Monogamy is essentially much the same thing

PeppermintPasty · 18/04/2010 19:02

bronze -i'll say

lol

sungirltan · 18/04/2010 19:42

truepoly - do you know EVERYONE who partakes in polywhatever then?

thats like me saying 'well i am married so i therefore know EVERYTHING about all marriages'

JackBauer · 18/04/2010 19:47

Well I can cook, so therefore I know everything about cooking.

ChickensHaveSinisterMotives · 18/04/2010 19:49

This obsession with polywhatsit which crops up every so often on here is so incredibly random. OP, what is your point? Has anyone even talked about polywhatsit since last year?

UnquietDad · 18/04/2010 19:58

I'm reminded of that supposed exam howler (possibly made up): "Being married to the same woman all your life is called monotony."

moviegirl · 18/04/2010 20:04

unquietdad - you've got guts posting that on here - i'll give you that

AbFabT · 18/04/2010 21:17

Which Poly puts the kettle on though?

UnquietDad · 18/04/2010 23:52

moviegirl - I don't really think so! I'm sure people will smile at it just as I did about the "one more husband than you need" quip above!

MadameOvary · 19/04/2010 09:47

moviegirl,
UQD famously adores his DW, he's always mentioning her.

UnquietDad · 19/04/2010 10:18

I thought that was "adores his Doctor Who" for a minute!!

MadameOvary · 19/04/2010 10:25

Well, that too

ChocolatePants · 19/04/2010 16:34

Still....no point to starting this thread then at all?

Thought so.

bronze · 19/04/2010 18:14

I nicked that quote from another forum and changed wife to husband

I read it as Doctor who too as I know that he does but I also know he adores his wife
