I just wanted to say, and I hope that it is the right time to say it, that just over a year ago my husband returned home when his OW finally rejected him This has been a very tricky thing to deal with, that is that he did not choose me and the boys, and I have not dealt with it all yet. But...we all had a fab walk in the rain this afternoon and slowly but surely the gaps between my outbursts are growing longer. Alongside this times when we seem to be truly contented and dare I say happy seem to be spreading to fill in the gaps. This is a long hard haul and we are not out of the woods yet. I will never feel as secure but things are getting better. More to the point perhaps I am beginning to get my head round work, my boys are way more settled, and my husband seems less unhappy.

Sometimes, and I hope this is one of them, it is worth persevering with a relationship in the face of people's advice and even common sense.

I am so happy for you. There is light at the end of the tunnel and you are getting there! Really, really pleased for you.

Hmmm not really sure that there is really light at the end of the tunnel. Just wanted you to know that life gets better albeit not quite as we wanted.
