do you know your husbands love you and how do they show you?

ds works everyday never gripes about it...he sometimes help with the house and stuff, but i was curious of how many dh do anything romantic for the wife...you know girl stuff...i don't care for roses much...i mean just "aawwww"...

he lets me lie - in if he's not at work, he runs me a nice bath when i get home from work, he tells me he loves me all the time,

not very romantic though - he bought me a karioke mashine for christmas!

The other day I was so sad he got the bathroom full of candles and prepared a bath for me. It was very nice.

After 7 yrs of marriage he still brings me a cup of coffee to bed most mornings and in some weekends croisants with jam.

He let me lie in bed today because he said I needed my sleep.

Very often makes me breakfast in bed on Sundays if he's here.

Tells me he loves me every day and brings me perfume when he's been abroad.

He tells me so, often
He shows me so by caring about how I'm feeling, how I am and my happiness generally. He often says 'what can I do to make you happy?'
He shows it by thinking about me and my feelings and being kind and supportive and loving
He does thoughtful things like running me a candlelit bath sometimes when I come in from work (when I was a WOHM)
I won't go on in case I'm making people puke!

my DH is a very kind man. He treats me with love and respect most of the time and that's whats really important.

He does do the special things - one Xmas he bought me a special gift for each of the 12 days of Xmas. They were really thoughtful gifts.

He buys me flowers and tells me he loves me all the time.

He spoils me rotten - if I want something I am always sure to get it (not in a bad way and I don't abuse it).

Most of all he puts up with my weird and wacky ways without complaint (most of the time anyway )

He tells me every day and we have been together for 18 years and he lets me sleep in on a saturday!

my ds les me know he loves me by

telling me im gorgeous when i have woken up feeling and looking like crap.

tells me i dont need make up to look great

lets me nap while he plays with ds

makes ds's bottles so i can hae a relaxing bath after a stressfull day.

he understnad my mad ways and loves me for them

he never mentions finding other women attractive and never ogles other woman when were out.

hes a great father to our son and i wouldnt change him for the world xxxx

I do know because he tells me but tbh I think he loves me too much. He said he worships the ground I walk on and I think thats a bit freaky.

But does he show me ...........erm no. He may think he does though.

always makes me coffee in the morning.
gives me foot massages loads (even though ive got manky feet!).
always knows when im low, just by looking at me.
tells me he loves me several times every day.
cleans up and never says he's done the washing up 'for me'.
takes the kids out when they are driving me bonkers.
buys me chocolate.
lets me watch my 'crap' sci-fi programmes without moaning.
tells me i'm the most beautiful woman in the world (and, oddly, sounds like he means it!)
he's always proud of me.
does daft things to make me laugh if im feeling down.
phones me loads when he's down the pub, drunk, to tell me he loves me!!
oh the list goes on and on.
we may moan about 'men', but there are some bloody fantastic guys out there. (mine's the best, of course!! )

I know he loves me because, bearing in mind that he loathes anything medical, he actually went to the doctors when I said I was worried about something (turned out to be benign, but it wasn't obvious at the time). Now that shows true love .

i just know dh loves me.
He goes to work so i can stay home
he never moans etc if i say ive done nothing all day apart from play with ds.
When he is off he works hard to do things for us and also to spend time as a family.
he puts up with me hormones and all
he tells me he loves me
just everything about him shows he loves me.

I don't have a husband, but the man I live with does love me. He tells me so, he does things to be nice to me, he bothers about me, he gets upset if he thinks I don't love him, he runs me candle-lit baths (even if I feel like a shower) and brings me an ice-cold gin to sip in them, he's proud of me, and he doesn't think his work is more important than mine.

We do row, obviously, but I also do know he loves me.

wickedwaterwitch, i am a female...i said wife..and girly stuff because that is how my dh refers to this kind of attention...he says that women have to many feelings and that we are married now and that he shouldn't have to do those things..not that he ever and i was curious to know how many other dh felt the same way...dh would buy flowers when we had a argument...are a card when i was upset with him...but other than that he even admitted that he puts work before his family because his work pays the bills......i wonder if maybe i expected to much or if expected to give to little...

also, do the dh that do all this stuff...do you have children....as dh blames the children for not having anytime for me....

its not a one way street you know. men like romantic gestures just as much as women do, your dh's also want to feel loved, valued and cherished, want a pressie not for an occasion, just cos you love them, a little love note or a thoughtful act. we talk about wanting our men to be romantic, but what do we do for them in that department? So. If you feel like your dh is not sweeping you off your feet............

Sweep him off his!

He does so much i don't really know where to start, he brings me tea and the girls their milk every morning so i don't have to get up (including the weekends) when he gets home he baths them, reads them a story and puts them to bed (again he also does this on the weekends) he then cooks as our dinner (although he is better at cooking and i do clear up after) he has done all of the night feeds for both our dd's even though he works and i don't. He is kind and considerate, he buys me presents and flowers for no reason and they are always things i love, he seems to know me better than i know myself.He tells me he loves me every day and last but not least he lets me have complete control of the sky remote every night and goes upstairs if he ever wants to watch sport.

He says 'I love you' all the time.

He brought me flowers home on Friday night - no reason.

He let me switch over to Desperate Housewives even though Liverpool were still playing (he's a Spurs fan but was watching it anyway).

I got to lie in this morning - he did kids breakfasts etc.

Millions of things really - don't get me wrong, he's not perfect but I've no doubt at all that he loves me.

Oh and he lives with me which is no mean feat - I am definitely 'high maintenance'!!
