dh and I don't because he goes to bed really early as he's up early.

bil and sil both go early (8:30 !!!)

Yes, DH and I normally go to bed at the same time. Very rarely DH might stay up a bit later to finish watching a fiilm or something, or we may go to bed earlier if the toher is out late (not often).

We go to bed, read and chat, then lights off for sleep.

Yes, we do, about 11 ish.

We usually go about the same time and end up chatting for hours as there are no distractions. He does tend to stay up later than me at the weekend.

No, dh gets up about 4 in the morning, I don't, so there is no way I would go to bed at 9pm.

Another shift worker DH here, so no.
Even on weekends off, he will stay up till silly o'clock watching sport or a film.
