Any practical ways to deal with my husband's snoring and my sleep?

Morning all I write this as husband snores away like a walrus beside me! I'm at the end of my tether, I can't take any more. Before the menopause I used to sleep well and didn't notice the snoring. Now it takes me ages to get to sleep even if I'm very tired and then I have to listen to him. If I'm lucky enough to drop off quickly, il wake in the night for the loo & can't get back to sleep because he's snoring. He starts snoring bad as soon as his head hits the pillow. He was even snoring on the beach yesterday I had to keep waking him. He won't go to the Dr's and won't try anything from the shops. When he was younger he broke his nose he says that's what's causing it. I told him to get it fixed but he won't. He won't take turns sleeping in spare room at home either. Apart from a sledgehammer, any ideas on how to stop the snoring?

Wax earplugs. Inexpensive and efficient.

Sleeping separately is the only answer I promise you. Been through exactly the same. Agree with others, make the spare room your own, lovely bedlinen, new bed if necessary. Put grandson on an airbed somewhere.

Do it today! You won’t look back!

Could you upgrade the spare room so going in there isn't a hardship? That would help 5 days a week. And then I think I would be trying a snooze band and white noise for the other two, or ear plugs.

Came on to say this. They have transformed my sleep. Way better than any other earplugs I’ve used. I just get them from Boots, cheap and effective.

My DH got a custom made mouth guard done at the dentists for his snoring. I was at the end of my rope with it from years of restless nights until one day he got the ultimatum to fix it or leave.

It's comfortable as it's custom made by the dentist to his mouth and has stopped all snoring totally. Can't believe it. Should have done it years ago before the resentment took hold.

I honestly would be leaving him if he couldn't be bothered to even talk to a doctor or dentist about ways to fix it. Selfish and inconsiderate of the person he lies next to and claims to love.

No he's amazing otherwise that's why I'd never divorce him over something like this. He's got me through some tough times over the last few years & I wouldn't be without him. He's a great step dad to my girls and the best bampy to the grandsons its just the bloody snoring

Amazing but won’t go to the doctor about something that is causing you to not be able to sleep and therefore to be exhausted?

Amazing but won’t take turns sleeping in the spare room and would prefer you to continue to not be able to sleep and therefore to be exhausted?

He’s not amazing OP, he’s selfish. Incredibly so.
