Partner doesn’t seem interested in me unless we talk about me having sex with other men

I am F (45) and my partner M (39), only pays me any attention or affection when we talk about his fetish. He wants me to sleep with other men and even fall in love with them! We have been together for 15 years and have children. He never shows any affection and we just have a relationship where it feels like we’re friends. I don’t want this, I have spoken to him about it and he tells me it’s because he fancies me so much and it turns him on, the thought of him being jealous. I just don’t feel happy or content in a relationship which solely seems to rely on his fetishes. How would others feel about this? Thanks.

Porn kills relationships and normal sex

I know this is going to sound like a silly question and like I’m thick, but is the consensus that he actually doesn’t love me?

It doesn’t matter if he does or not. He’s treating you appallingly. You are unhappy. He’s never going to change. His behaviour isn’t normal. It’s sick and twisted. You need to get away from him. Now. Before he takes his sick fantasies further. So many stories of women being drugged and used as sex toys.

Don’t use the excuse of a previous relationship breakdown to stay. Many people have had their hearts broken several times. Take back your power and end this relationship. Respect yourself. He’s vile. Not one single person on this thread thinks you should put up with his shit. You’ve been coerced once and have had 9 years of pestering. Enough is enough.

Is this a real?

I get that there’s no other option in this (so-called) relationship for me. I just want things how they used to be, I want him to feel about me how I feel about him. But I know I can’t control how he thinks and feels. I’ve had a bad breakup before him and I don’t think I’m strong enough to go through another one. Just wish he got me.

I also think you’d be better off leaving him, but perhaps you could at least make him think that you’ll leave him unless he agrees to joint counselling with a sex therapist who understands porn sickness?
