Dirty old man....

Hello I'm new....
My partner (doesn't actually live with me) is so unhygienic. He smells musty when he's slept in his bed. Today I found skid marks on my sheet after he'd stayed over. I've pleaded with him to change his clothes/bedding and take a daily shower but he just gets very defensive and bad tempered. Not told him about the skiddies yet, not sure how to approach it with him! Advice? Thanks

Imagine what he's going to smell like in a heatwave.

Grim.

Eugh! So he doesn't wipe his bum or wash? Thats absolutely revolting and repulsive. How do you have sex with him?
I'd throw the bedsheets away and him, yuck

I have read all the replies...thanks for your input. Yes, I do know I should do what you're all saying. Yes, I am weak, I don't like hurting people's feelings.
I guess I was hoping for someone to advise how best to get across to him how important it is to me for him to be clean and fresh, without being hurtful. In other ways he's a very sweet and caring guy.

He knows though. He knows it's gross and he knows you don't like it, nobody likes it.

He's also worked out that you're too nice to say or do anything about it so he doesn't have to bother. He's placing his own laziness/convenience over your feelings, they don't matter to him at all.
