sex when adult DS is awake in next room

My DH thinks I'm being unreasonable as I can't relax to get in the mood when I know DS is in his bedroom which is joined to ours. Our son is an adult so would know instantly what any noises were and the thought of that just horrifies me.

our son also does not have the best track record at just walking into to our room without knocking.

would you be able to relax?

Did you never teach him about knocking before entering someone else's bedroom?

I would definitely get a lock, as you could be naked at any time.

I would also get a TV in your room and ‘now it’s getting colder’ start going to bed early and watching TV before bed.

He won’t be able to hear you as well with the TV on and even if you’re not having sex every night, you will still have intimacy.

It’s so hard to get in the mood when your kids are in the next room.

But hopefully the Tv will also help to take your mind off of him and perhaps you could start with just foreplay for a while.
