I seem to have opened a can of worms with my previous thread and now I’m interested in opinions? Will probably be another can of worms.

yes or no? Baby sleeping in own cot in the same room which they should be for 6 months.

I would be completely unable to get aroused in the same room as a child and I can't understand how anyone could enjoy anything sexual knowing a child was in the same room.

Can't you just go and have sex in another room?

Yes, this. Go into another room.

Omg, what a twat! I defo would have put him straight (the doctor, not the husband) lol

So would I these days, but I was very young at the time and wouldnt sat boo to a goose. Ever since, I've quietly stewed over what I should have said to him 🙄

@Oldnproud I think I'd have been too gobsmacked to respond fast enough! Not what you'd expect a professional to say at all.

I'm going to become a sex Nanny.

As long as the child sleeps in your room, I'll pop round (you can book me in 30 increments) and I'll keep DS in the room of your choice whilst you have sex elsewhere, and we'll keep CBEEBIES on so we can't hear you copulating.

Reckon I could get an hour off most people. Man pays for the first hour to get sex, woman pays for the extra time to make sure you gets foreplay and an orgasm.

How much?

30 minutes? 3-4 is fine.

I was once having sex with an ex. He thought he'd locked the dog downstairs but it had crept upstairs. It ran into the bedroom, jumped on my ex and then licked his bollocks 😂

Gotaearnabuck · 01/03/2023 19:00

Fair enough if people have the ick about but as a PP said up until recently in the UK pretty much slept, ate, had sex, have birth and died in one room

I honestly can't imagine a dog doing anything but this!

Namechangeforthe · 01/03/2023 21:51

A bit of spooning or missionary under the covers would be fine but I’d suggest leaving doggy style or bdsm until they are in their own room

Fmlgirl · 01/03/2023 22:05

My OH grew up in a Hongkong studio apartment with his parents and older sister. Pretty sure he wouldn’t exist if his parents had abstained from sex. Everyone sleeps in the same room in some cultures like other posters have pointed out.

I don’t see the problem if the baby is sleeping to be honest and I’m surprised at some of the comments.

If we had followed this we'd only have one child.

😂😂😂

AbsolutePixels · 02/03/2023 02:01

Wouldn't have a big flamboyant session, but a furtive fumble under the covers is fine, I think.

Before 6 months, there's no way I could've left my baby alone in another room long enough to have sex.
