So I broke up with my boyfriend in the drink and had way too much to drink and put myself in an awful position. This guy was lovely telling me how beautiful I am and I enjoyed the attention but he was very forceful and I had to tell him no more then once and he wasn’t listening. He came back to mine and several times I told him to stop because he was so rough, rough to the point this morning blood squirted all over when I told him to stop because it hurt. I went to the toilet after and I had blood clots and lots of blood when I wiped, he had blood on him too. I really shouldn’t have had too much to drink, I can’t believe I put myself in this position.

I have guests still here so when they leave I will be attending a&e for advice and help with the pain. I’m struggling to try and carry on for the sake of the children when the pain is this bad.

I'm so sorry. You were raped.

Don't shower. Attend A&E and tell them you need a rape kit done. If you feel up to it, ask them to call the police, but get that kit done anyway - you may change your mind later.

Do you have someone who can stay with your children? One of your guests?

Do you have someone you trust that can be with you?

Nowhere has she said she has a drinking problem FFS. Or are women never allowed to get drunk now?

And you’re a fantasist in my opinion.

Back in the real world, loads of people have regretted drinking when they’re hungover the next day.

Facecream · 26/10/2022 14:45

I’m guessing the nasty posters are men? And/or rape apologists?
It does not matter what reason she or he were anywhere or doing anything prior to sex.
That’s what some people pretend not to understand.
Heres an analogy:
Is it the person who owns the jewellery store with the Rolex watches at fault that they sell something that some fucked up people either decided to burgle or rob?
Who is to blame - the person who put the watches where they were - in the window.. too much temptation?
Should they be hidden away and thus not ever attract attention?
If a person robs the store from inside the store, wasn’t aware that the watches were in there it was t sure if they had the guts to perform the robbery (using the technical difference here between robbery and burglary) would that mean the robbery was less of a robbery?

OP get the medical help you need. You can decide about reporting later when you get that sorted

Insaneinthemembraneee · 26/10/2022 14:46

This isn't anything to do with you getting drunk Op ok! Absolutely nothing you've done is wrong.

If you are not up to going to police you can go to a local sarc/reach centre and have any evidence you may want to use later collected & stored (not too sure how long it can be stored for) but it'll get you a little time to gather your thoughts and think on how you want to proceed.
You were vulnerable and HE took advantage HE sounds rather violent & dangerous.

TeachesOfPeaches · 26/10/2022 14:46

Have you managed to get medical assistance OP?

workiskillingme · 26/10/2022 14:47

God some of the shameful people on here ffs

Holidayexpert · 26/10/2022 14:47

I’m not a man, well last time I checked!

Facecream · 26/10/2022 14:49

Sometimes people go out and drink to much and they regret it thr next day ,that doesn't make them an alcoholic and nor do they deserve to be raped

Montague22 · 26/10/2022 14:52

Go to A and E now. You might need stitches and medication to prevent hiv.
Tell your guests you have an emergency/migraine. Don’t hang around.
Its not your period and you need to be treated.

Beyond that you don’t have decide anything today.

There’s no point at this stage picking apart what you could have done differently. Regardless of what you did or didn’t do, it shouldn’t have happened xx

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 26/10/2022 14:52

You didnt put yourself in any position. R (I can't even type the word) is never ever under any circumstances the fault of the victim. Regardless of how drunk you got 'Stop means Stop' there's no debate about it.

grammatically your analogy makes zero sense and I can’t understand it at all I’m afraid but I think the point you’re making is a good one - it’s just not easy to understand what you’ve said.

we don't always make the best decisions when under the influence of alcohol.

doesn't mean anyone deserves to be raped.

You’ve been told repeatedly your comments were inappropriate. I hope you think twice before making such comments towards a traumatised woman looking for support in the future.

Facecream · 26/10/2022 15:07

@ghosthunter2022 … grammatically?
I’m not sure you know what that means.

How about you don’t derail the OP’s thread?

Cantthinkofanewnameatm · 26/10/2022 15:08

Please get medical help asap. You can decide on anything else afterwards.
This is 100% on him, you said no, he ignored you.
You can contact Rape Crisis if you don’t want to talk with someone close to you
rapecrisis.org.uk but medical help for your safety is essential.

Blimey you're relentless aren't you.

chali7 · 26/10/2022 15:17

If you haven't already done so, please seek some medical advice- this happened to me when I was younger, and I had to have surgery due to an injury as you have described. It wasnt a pleasent time or experience. Don't be worried or afraid to seek help... whether that is by reporting this to the police or confiding in a friend or family member - please look after yourself, OP. 💖

XAQ · 26/10/2022 15:17

OP please get some medical attention and report this to the police.
