So I broke up with my boyfriend in the drink and had way too much to drink and put myself in an awful position. This guy was lovely telling me how beautiful I am and I enjoyed the attention but he was very forceful and I had to tell him no more then once and he wasn’t listening. He came back to mine and several times I told him to stop because he was so rough, rough to the point this morning blood squirted all over when I told him to stop because it hurt. I went to the toilet after and I had blood clots and lots of blood when I wiped, he had blood on him too. I really shouldn’t have had too much to drink, I can’t believe I put myself in this position.

Pity the CPS and juries don't see it that way.

LeMoo · 26/10/2022 13:01

@MavisChunch29 this is not an appropriate thread to have that discussion.

Cigarettesaftersex1 · 26/10/2022 13:02

MavisChunch29 · 26/10/2022 12:52

@ChickpeaPie Read the OP again, yes it was.

I don't think it was, it reads more like she'd split with the boyfriend and ended up with someone else.

That aside, it was definitely rape OP, please get yourself seen to

MavisChunch29 · 26/10/2022 13:04

I think it is fair to raise it, due to all the posters urging her to report it to the police. Seeking medical attention is the priority now.

LovedFedAndNoonesDead · 26/10/2022 13:08

LeMoo · 26/10/2022 12:56

Doctors won't report rape to the police without consent. The op needs to seek medical help and I hope seeks emotional help, but she shouldn't be pressured into reporting to the police.

Sorry for not being clearer, when I say the hospital may refer it to police, I don’t mean they would specifically say OP has been raped but that a patient has suffered injuries consistent with a serious assault and request they speak to her to see if there is something she wishes to report.

MichaelFabricantWig · 26/10/2022 13:10

Omg this is awful. I‘m so sorry!

You mustn’t blame yourself. You’ve been raped. It is never a victim’s fault

Whatsleftnow · 26/10/2022 13:17

I’m so sorry this has happened. It’s an awful feeling trying to deal with the sense of responsibility and what ifs, and shoulda’s and coulda’s, and maybe some memory lapses too.

But being sad isn’t a crime. And being drunk isn’t a crime.
Raping someone with enough force to do internal damage is a crime.

The only person who should be feeling shame is the animal who took advantage.

I wish I could give you a hug, bundle you up and take you to a&e. You don’t deserve this.

Whiskeypowers · 26/10/2022 13:20

You need to be seen urgently so that your injuries can be recorded.
sorry this has happened to you.

ancientgran · 26/10/2022 13:21

Good that you are going to the hospital, you really need to be checked out. I hope everything is OK.

GreenFingersWouldBeHandy · 26/10/2022 13:26

Sounds like you need some urgent medical attention. Have you been seen yet? Was it your BF who raped you or another guy?

Babasghost · 26/10/2022 13:29

Hugs
Get medical help. Ask for them to do a rape kit
Write down everything you can remember

Then think about weather you are willing to be put through the trauma of reporting.
Like other posters said rapists almost always get away with it after 3 years going to trial.

Your health is the most important thing.
Tell your guests what happened and get help. You can decide the rest later. Take care love.

FiveGreenBottles · 26/10/2022 13:33

Please seek urgent medical attention OP

I understand why others are advising you to consider carefully before reporting this to the police (as establishing lack of consent to a legally- compliant standard isn’t easy).

Please contact RCC - it offers great advice and counselling.

All the best, OP.

A and E

Go now.

PlainJaneSuperBrain99 · 26/10/2022 13:39

Sorry for what has happened. Your priority should be seeking medical treatment in case there is serious damage. Dont worry about anything else right now, just seek medical help.

3peassuit · 26/10/2022 13:42

You need medical attention now. It was rape. He did it because he is a rapist not because you had had a drink.

CoffeeLover90 · 26/10/2022 13:44

Has he left your house? If not, please, please don't let him stay a moment longer. Then go get checked over, ask for an STI test if he hasn't used a condom. Definitely speak with the crisis team, even if you don't want to report to the police.
And listen to me and everyone else when we say this is not your fault. Yes, you were drunk and vulnerable. Does that give this monster a reason to do this to you? No. This is on him and no one else. I'm so angry on your behalf. Tell your guests what's happened, get as much support around you as possible. Take care, I'm so sorry.

MarieIVanArkleStinks · 26/10/2022 13:45

You poor woman. Sending you every sympathy, empathy, and positive healing wishes for your physical and emotional recovery from this horrific experience. Please, please, seek medical attention, and also know this: it was not your fault. If you were intoxicated; you could not consent. He is a rapist. Given the awful level of injury you have sustained, he's also nothing short of a monster.

I'm so sorry Flowers

Thenose · 26/10/2022 13:45

I'm so sorry.. Absolutely nothing is your fault. He should have stopped.

Please know that you can be treated without committing to anything else at all. You don't need to report to the police. The NHS won't report unless you ask them to.

I hope you're there or on your way.

oakleaffy · 26/10/2022 13:50

That sounds like a very serious sexual assault, OP
Definitely get yourself checked out medically.

No way should you have been physically attacked like that.
What a revolting man- Sounds like a real woman hater.
Stay safe, OP.

Noodge · 26/10/2022 13:53

I'm so sorry OP. I agree with everyone everyone this is rape.

Something similar has happened to me before. I didn't believe it was rape either. Report it and get some help. I hope you feel better soon
