Can anyone else relate or is it just me?

I became very blunt with people about it. Next time they say it, you could start humming "World, Shut Your Mouth" by Julian Cope. 😂

best wishes for your health.

Oh I TOTALLY get this!!
I've been married for 33 years, I keep daydreaming about living in a women only commune, where we've all gone through the menopause, have no need to ever see/meet/engage with/look at another penis attached to an even bigger penis ever ever again, and can live a stress free, positive life without having to think of the male species and all the crap they come with

Yes. That is why lots of women are lesbians especially In later life

I don't think that's really true. Someone's sexual orientation is not governed by experience, it's a part of your genetic makeup. Women might be put off having a relationship with men through bad experiences but it's not going to 'turn them' into a Lesbian. Sexual orientation is not something that you choose.

Quite. It's a very naive view. Cultural history would look quite different if people could have chosen not to be gay.

Dillydollydingdong · 10/07/2022 20:13

It must be a generational thing. I've been with a number of men in my life but I can think of only one who did porn. I remember ripping up some dirty mags and taking them next door where I threw them in the neighbour's face. The last man lasted 16 years before I decided he was just too boring, and the current one word be horrified at some of the remarks on here.

Smellyoldowls22 · 10/07/2022 21:35

Looking back I don't think I've ever actually been properly attracted to a man.

But I am in the midst of realising I am gay, so YMMV.
Compulsory heterosexuality is confusing.

Just had a quick ‘shuffle’ on tinder and some of these key (ubiquitous) phrases on profiles definitely give me the ‘ick’

’hopefully we won’t be able to keep our hands off each other when we meet’ 🤮

’looking for a partner in crime’

’cuddles on the sofa with a lovely lady’

’comfortable in my own skin’

‘own hair/teeth etc’

‘glass half full type’

FortonServices · 17/07/2022 11:34

And the lovely " I'm the kind of guy who'll open the door for you and then slap your arse on the way past"

They really can be clueless.

I steer clear of anyone who describes themselves as tactile, physical etc because it just screams sex pest.

Pyewhacket · 17/07/2022 11:36

This thread is getting on a bit.

Sexual orientation doesn't come about by being revolted by the opposite sex - it's innate. Anyone who tells you it did was hiding a latent tendency to homo/bisexuality, possibly even from themselves. You can't just decide to 'turn' ffs - what a patronising & damaging viewpoint.

As the mother of boys, I'm appalled at the negativity towards the male gender.

Gosh, I wonder where that negativity came from ..?

Maybe if the male sex (not gender btw) stopped committing 97% of violent crime, & generally being twats toward women & each other, women could have a little more positivity about men?

Each and every man who you are repulsed by is someone’s son. Any sim that one of the posters above has will grow up to become a man.

Having such a strong negative reaction to men can’t help but affect how a boy develops.

It’s possible that it’s mothers like the posters above who produce those very incels, in a sad self-sustaining cycle.

Women! Know your place! YOU are responsible for all the evils men commit!

I’d forgotten about the ‘open door and slap your arse’ one too - double ick.
and agreed that it screams ‘sex pest’
