Which man would you rather date?

Man A: Tall (6'3), thin, in average shape.

Man B: Average height (5'9) but very good shape (six-pack, wide chest, muscular bum).

Assume both are compatible with you in terms of personality and are very attracted to you.

Which would you choose and why?

I don’t know about height, but very good shape would actively put me off as it suggests they spend all their free time in the gym. I’d find this limiting for what we could do together and also be thinking that they’re probably pretty self absorbed.

I’d go for the tall one because I’m quite tall myself and I do love a cuddle from a tall man. Nice to have a choice though! I’m sure there would be some character differences that would swing it IRL.

No idea - I'm not fussed about height, and have no preference for particularly muscular men. In terms of attractiveness, I'd be much more interested in their face and general manner.

Whichever one I liked best as a person and found more attractive. Height and build aren't the only thinks which make a man sexy.

6’3” is too tall for me as I’m tiny but he would be my choice. My partner is a triathlete and he’s slim and tall (compared to me!). I’m not a fan of muscly guys personally.

Both would be taller than me and neither obese so it would depend on general compatibility and personality.
I really dislike the ‘online shopping’ aspect of OLD.

A because I don't like lots of muscles, 6 packs etc. My husband has decent muscles but not over the top just a normal physique. Also as someone else pointed out the guy with a 6 pack etc will likely spend lot of time in the gym.

Both, until you know them better and the only things that set them apart aren't their hight and build. Surely you’d have a favourite within a month or so

This has certainly escalated from 'which house would you buy A or B?'

It's not a matter of 'they're both nice and they both like me' so which one do I pick. They are individuals with a wealth of different habits, traits, interests and life experience. To round that down in order to pick one based on height and build is pretty shallow.

Hopefully they're not weighing up their options about you in the same way.

It's dating. I'd go for both and see which I preferred after getting to know them both a bit better, and maybe consider going exclusive after that.

I would never, ever be in a situation where I was weighing up a potential partner in this way. It's weird and clinical. I have no idea how tall my DH is and it never occurred to me to look at his muscles at any point. It still doesn't, after 30 years.

So weird. People aren't lifesize mannekins.
I'd go for one of them if a) I was attracted to him and b) I approved of his values and behaviour (by behaviour I mean how responsible, grownup, respectful, thoughtful, and kind he was).
Without those conditions being met it wouldn't matter at all how tall, buff, compatible, or attracted to me he was.

If you had to choose between two women, one is 5 ft 10, very slim no hips and flat chested with blonde hair.The other lady is 5ft 4, quite curvy and rather busty with small feet and bit of a mum tum. Which one would you choose?

Don't care about height but if B has a six-pack it points to him spending a lot of time at the gym or on a sporty hobby which wouldn't be compatible with my interests; plus I prefer skinny men to muscular men, so A all the way assuming everything else really is equal.
