Which man would you rather date?

Man A: Tall (6'3), thin, in average shape.

Man B: Average height (5'9) but very good shape (six-pack, wide chest, muscular bum).

Assume both are compatible with you in terms of personality and are very attracted to you.

Which would you choose and why?

Plenty of women love looking at their partners muscles...and the men in question love it too. In my experience, men absolutely love being sexualised for things like that from the woman they're with. It makes them happy 😅

I don't like overly muscly men (I'd assume - maybe wrongly - they were a bit full of themselves) but I also don't like thin men. So it would come entirely down to which one I clicked with personality wise.

I've never looked at a man and thought right away "I'd like to go out with you" - it always comes down to whether I find their whole package attractive after talking to them - they've got to be "on my level" y'know? The sense of humour is the most important thing to me.

I'd date them both but have babies with the taller one because I'm barely 5ft tall and want my children to be at least average.

Height and body shape doesn’t really help me decide, although I prefer skinny men to obese men but anything in between is ok if they have a good personality.

I don’t think being very muscular is that attractive. Being fit is, and having some kind of sex appeal also is, but that imho has nothing to do with going to the gym. In fact most ‘muscular gym’ men I’ve found to be not great in bed.

I would date both and choose the one (if any) to whom I was sexually and romantically attracted.

I always dated B's but I married an A.

I don't have a height preference at all (though I'm 6ft myself,) but I have a strong preference away from very muscular, broad chested men. On that basis, I'd go for A. But all else being equal, I'd go for the slim/skinny guy whether he was 6'3 or 5'3.

If this is just a crude poll to see if posters prefer tall men to muscular ones then pop it in AIBU. Ask if you're BU to think posters will prefer height over muscles or vice versa and set the poll.

Alas, genetics doesn’t really work that way. It’s more likely it’ll be a toss up between them being your height or his height than somewhere in between.
