What to get my DP to say thank you

Iceicebaby123 · 21/04/2022 00:28

My DP treats me like a princess all the time and I am so lucky.
his salary is much much larger than mine and he pays for everything all the time.
he has always been a provider and supported me whenever I have needed him. Not just financially but also emotionally.
I want to do something or buy something to say thank you to him for being amazing.
any ideas?

Iceicebaby123 · 21/04/2022 00:32

Cook a nice meal? But really just tell him that you appreciate him.

AnnesBrokenSlate · 21/04/2022 00:57

Isn't it a little odd that you don't know what he'd like or even if he's the sort of person who appreciates gifts over activities or spending time together or just a sincere conversation?
You've given literally no information about him so no-one can offer genuine suggestions anyway. I'm laughing that your total description of him is entirely framed around you and his earning potential 🤣

Iceicebaby123 · 21/04/2022 00:58

@AnnesBrokenSlate someone sounds a lil jelly

That response will really help people to give you advice. So much more detail about your <imaginary> partner's interests.

Iceicebaby123 · 21/04/2022 01:24

@AnnesBrokenSlate thanks hun

My boyfriend bought me a new tuner pedal for my bass guitar to say thank you for some things I'd done for him.

I shave his head (and don't cut into his mohican like the barber used to) to show appreciation for the things he does for me.

Although I think we'd both prefer an 'activity' present over a 'gift'. Something we could do together.

AnnesBrokenSlate's point was that if you share something of his interests etc then people will be able to make appropriate suggestions.

A box full of cuddles would he a good one.

Nowomenaroundeh · 21/04/2022 09:13

I find most men enjoy blowjobs.

Watchkeys · 21/04/2022 12:35

What does he like to do? Can you book a day out or holiday around it? Foraging/feeding the animals/wine or beer tasting/music course or show?

Softleftpowerstance · 21/04/2022 12:42

All men appreciate power tools and golf clubs. Every single one.

what an odd post. 🙄

Illwithdisappointment · 21/04/2022 13:38

@Nowomenaroundeh haha love it! Doesn't break the bank either.

layladomino · 21/04/2022 13:56

Surely you know him better than any of us? It's a weird question to ask of complete strangers. And it wasn't fair to call a pp jealous for asking a question / pointing something out. To some of us, being treated 'like a princess' sounds truly awful, it isn't something you can assume other people will envy.

Are you OK? Why ask for suggestions and then be so rude?

Qwill · 21/04/2022 14:02

A new iron and ironing board.

CrapBucket · 22/04/2022 21:08

You could actually get him a little jelly. You can tell him how much you like being a princess and here's a small gift to show you appreciate it, just a mere trifle.

😀tbh when OP called me a little jelly, I was envisioning a little Hartley's jelly pot.

Inklingpot · 22/04/2022 21:16

A donkey.

Gilesgoesformiles · 22/04/2022 21:18

treats me like a princess are you in an Eastenders episode from the 80’s?

I’d get him something he likes.
