He has a fetish

My new sexual partner (well, early days, but it's heading that way) and I have been getting on really well. I find him very attractive and enjoy spending time together.

He has told me he likes to be 'teased'. Mentioned it more than once and I think it might be quite a big thing for him. What I don't know is what I am supposed to do? To make sex enjoyable for him, incorporating 'teasing' I might be quite inexperienced and I don't get it. What does it mean. I have googled it but I am still not clear and it mostly brought up porn videos which I didn't want to watch.

OP posts:

Doesn't sound young, sounds like a guy pretending to be a woman looking for sex talk.

TwistedOlivers · 24/12/2021 21:30

Wave a Greggs sausage roll and a can of Fosters at him, just out of reach?

Lovemusic33 · 24/12/2021 21:39

Lots of unhelpful replies here. You probably should have posted in the sex topic, advice maybe different there.

I don’t think ‘being teased’ is a fetish as such. I would say it’s something many people like? I assume that he wants you to slowly tease him, get close to climax and then stop (tease), there’s many ways you can do this, obviously you need to talk to him and see exactly what he means.

The most important thing with a new partner is that you feel comfortable to talk about anything, find out what each other like and don’t like.

@FFSFFSFFS

Hide his remote control? Dangle his keys out the window?
You win the internet tonight 😂😂😂😂

You say you like him @BootySOS . If you like him then I don't recommend a FWB thing, tell him you like him and take it from there, rather than sneakily trying to bring a fuckbuddy situation round to a proper relationship.

As to teasing, it could mean many different things, some of them involving bondage apparently. So you really need to ask him as you can't really do it otherwise. But if you're not into any particular thing, don't do it.

fuckoffImcounting · 24/12/2021 22:06

As an old, old woman, this stuff looks fucking exhausting to me, - can't you just go to bed and fuck like the rest of us always used to do?

Teasing is stuff like saying ‘oh what a tiny little willy. I’ve never seen such a pathetic little worm’. If he’s telling you that up front then it’s a significant part of his ability to be aroused. I’d avoid. Unless you want to have your own sexual desires ignored so he can focus on his own.

me4real · 24/12/2021 22:35

@Houseofmirth66 I hadn't thought of it being like small penis humiliation, so I think OP really needs to ask. It could be more like 'no, you haven't earned it yet' 'I'm not letting you come yet' or whatever.

I thought of more vanilla style teasing at first like showing them a stocking top, or that you've got no knickers on etc. Grin so you really need to ask, @BootySOS , or this could go badly wrong.

Hawkins001 · 24/12/2021 22:35

@BootySOS

So, does anyone know what it means?

What is a tease fetish?

"Teasing is as varied as the people doing the teasing and being teased. Teasing can be purely physical or verbal, and ranges widely in its affiliative or hostile intent. People tease to socialize, negotiate conflicts, flirt, and play. Empirical studies of this pervasive social practice have yielded answers to several intriguing questions."

I'm guessing flirty texts or messages , that arouse the psychology of the person, sort a like wait till we are in the bedroom with me dressed in stockings and a saucy outfit or wait till I have you desiring more pleasures and experiences ect, but with a saucy twist on what you both like ect, it seems it's like food for the mind, keeps the desire levels up and the fantasies it creates from your ideas of what activities you both would like and how you would like your partner to perform for you ect

Cismyfatarse · 24/12/2021 22:37

You sure he doesn't just want you to make him a cuppa?

thistimelastweek · 24/12/2021 22:47

Wild guess here but would this thread get the rocks off a tease fetishist?

Right? I can't believe people are entertaining this 🤣 all very well suggesting that OP posts on the sex topic but I doubt OP has been on MN long enough to do that...

I went out with a bloke who had a tease fetish. I got the whole thing down to a tee.

Probably some bored 15 year old lad whos parents have gone out for the night and his laptops got parental controls on it so he cant access any porn sites

Possible but then given the wide range of advice people post here, why is it almost taboo, for people to ask about how to improve or gain perspectives on human nature and psychology ?
TwistedOlivers · 24/12/2021 23:04

@Hawkins001 Oh come on, they're asking about kinks/people getting their rocks off, not Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs.

I personally have faith in OP, but I haven't searched her username to see if she has a posting history or anything.

tarasmalatarocks · 24/12/2021 23:05

@fuckoffImcounting. Couldn’t agree with you more— if I find myself single again at 60 I’m genuinely not bothering. I honestly cannot be arsed with pandering to specialist peccadillos because they’ve done too much porn over the years

@tarasmalatarocks I agree, I'd just want 'romantic' sex.

Fair points, but what could be one person's how to bake a pie, could be another person's how to increase desire, as not everyone has the same aversion, of thinking oh no, I must not ask that about x topic, heaven forbid, what would the Jones's think, ect
