Genital warts ??

Hi everyone

I am really worried at the moment.. I had a Hollywood wax nearly two weeks ago now.. the day after I noticed a spot on the left side of my labia on the bit where the hair grows (obviously there wasn’t any hair).

I tried to squeeze it and some white puss came out.. but over the next couple of days it wasn’t going down and I squeezed it a few more times and more white puss came out ( sorry for the info)

It formed kind of a scan over it and was pretty much gone but I came on my period yesterday and the pad was irritating it abit and I noticed a hair sticking out of it so tweezed it out .. All good I thought okay ingrown hair finally came to the top.

I have some ingrow go for ingrown hairs so I put some on it to bring the swelling down and to my horror it completly turned it white !! I have read that saclyic acid turns warts white ?? I looked at the ingredients and it has acetysalacyic acid in it which apparently is different from salacylic acid.

I have had the HPV vaccine but I am very worried now. It doesn’t look anything like a wart and I didn’t think warts contained puss geneuinely thought it was a spot but it had turned bright white ??

Help anyone

Sounds like a spot caused by an ingrown hair

Rosey1334p · 15/11/2021 17:46

No probably not. Warts don't contain pus

Lillyofthe · 15/11/2021 17:47

I don't understand why you wouldn't seek medical advice from your GP? MN isn't the answer

Rosey1334p · 15/11/2021 17:49

My gp isn’t open at this time I am posting here cos I am worried but I will contact the sexual health clinic tomorrow

If it's anything like my doctors she would get a quicker response

Teeturtle · 15/11/2021 17:51

No it doesn’t sound like a wart, white plus does not come out of warts!

Sounds like a spot, I think you should stop squeezing it and plucking it.

Not a nice response why not say nothing???
Teeturtle · 15/11/2021 17:52

.. and putting vinegar on it.. 😳

72WayTooCool · 15/11/2021 17:53

Sounds like a spot to me. I've had some proper painful ones in my nether regions before. Have a nice hot bath and that should bring it up to a head so you can pop it. Bung a bit of antiseptic cream on it and you should be done.

justgettingonwith · 15/11/2021 17:53

Apparently they're very common these days, the infection can remain dormant for years, and the warts are easily frozen off if and when they do emerge.

How are you feeling?

MordenLarch · 15/11/2021 17:54

Doesn’t sound like a wart at all. Warts are hard, and the genital kind often track along veins, so you often have a ‘mother ship’ one and other smaller ones.

I’d leave it alone and let your poor labia get back to normal!

Lillyofthe · 15/11/2021 17:56

@Queenie6655 for god sake the OP is asking about her genital area on a forum. The MOST practical and MOST sensible advice is to seek medical advice from a doctor.

How on earth is stating the obvious unkind or upsetting. Should it come with a trigger warning for the sensitive who don't want to do the obvious?

Jeez the stupidity

Shesheadingonin · 15/11/2021 17:58

I have the same on my labia and it’s definitely an ingrowing hair. It’s a small lump which I have squeezed and white puss came out. It reduced in size once squeezed but I can’t locate the hair to pluck it out unfortunately.

Rosey1334p · 15/11/2021 17:58

I would have thought it was a ingrown hair if it hadn’t of turned white.. it was the ingrown hair lotion I put on it that is meant for ingrown hairs which turned it white.. but yeah I feel fine I myself

OP posts:
Rosey1334p · 15/11/2021 17:59

I mean turned white as in the skin around it all went white when I put the lotion on not a white head from puss

Rosey1334p · 15/11/2021 18:00

I did have puss in though

dementedpixie · 15/11/2021 18:01

I hope there's no cats in there!
If it has pus then it's unlikely to be a wart

Lillyofthe · 15/11/2021 18:03

Please go to the doctor

Rosey1334p · 15/11/2021 18:03

@Lillyofthe I am going to go ?? It is 6pm on a Monday night there are no doctors open right now

OP posts:
dementedpixie · 15/11/2021 18:05

I wouldn't go the GP for a spot. Stick some antiseptic on and let it heal.

ohtwatbollocks · 15/11/2021 18:09

Most doctors surgery's are closed now, if OP wants some reassurance or to assess the possibility and some stories from others who have had the same experiences who is it bloody hurting?

Chrispackhamspoodle · 15/11/2021 18:11

You've had the HPV vaccine= It's not a wart.
