What to text guy who's fading

Guy I've been dating for a couple of months has stopped contacting me.Pretty sure I'm being faded.Been here before and not going to chase.But I lent him a book and I want it back...it's actually a library book so I need to return it.Hate thought of having to text.Do I just say please post book back and not mention the no contact or should I call him out?!

I don't think you've been too direct at all in fact you were nicer than i would've been. Why offer him to see you again. That bit I would not have done. That doesn't provide closure at all. You've given him carte blanch to do exactly what you said you didn't want, crawl back. Remember that no response is also a response so I would have defo gone with no text at all. And for all those saying don't let men get away with shit behaviour, call them out on it.....fuck that. I've raised one child, I taught him manners it's not my job to teach everyone else the right thing to do. We are not a correction facility for all shitty men out there.
If he chose to fade me id choose how to react and that would be by blocking deleting and not wasting a second thought on him. Problem solved.
