Yes, but not substantially younger really. He was 5 years younger and I was mid 30s.

Relationship wise.. 36 and 48 so he was 12 years older. I tend to go for men around 10-12 years older to be honest

Yes. He was 17 years younger. After 5.5 years it didn’t work out. He decided after all that he wanted a baby (I was 48!- already had children-shop had been shut for years and he knew it but up to then didn’t want kids). He went off and had a baby with someone closer in age to him and that’s the end of the story.

My DH is almost 4 years younger than me. I've dated men around 9 years older than me, but tbh, I found them boring and I've always preferred younger men. Most of my past boyfriends were always a couple of years younger than me. The youngest I dated was 19 when I was 26. He was a bit immature, gave me chlamydia and then went weird when we broke up, so he wasn't the best choice, but he was fun at the time.

My DP is 9 years younger than me. It’s when I’ll say “when I was 18 blah blah “ and then think he was 9 🤣

39 years ago when I was 21 years old, I began aa summer of twice a week meetings with a woman of 42, I lived and worked in a pub and we both had one hell of a time and was taught and learned a huge amount that has served me well for the rest of my life.

10 years younger and 22 years older. Age never mattered much in the beginning.

Current (hopefully last) DH is 20 years older - I am 35 he is 55. We are very happy. Met at work, friends for 7 years and a couple for 3.

Why do you want to know?

12 years older. I loved him, still do, but ultimately it was too big a gap. I could see myself getting old before my time. Tho I'd probably get back with him anyway 🙈

I’ve only ever gone out with someone younger once, and he was only 2 years younger. The biggest gap the other way was 14 years older. My relationship with the younger one broke up and I went straight into seeing the older one, funnily enough.

17 was biggest. 12 was most serious (other than DH). DH is just 7.

Yeah, 14 years younger than me and we almost married. But ultimately we were at different stages of our lives and among other issues the age gap did matter. Although I told myself for the whole relationship it didn't! Wouldn't do it again I don't think.

Had a BF 25 years older than a me - I was 20s he was 40s. Sex was amazing but it was hard work in many ways. We were both in a ‘difficult place’ and it helped us both. Felt v intense at the time but was with hindsight it was never supposed to be long term. That was for 15months.

DH is 10 years older than me which feels like nothing. We were best friends and the age gap makes no difference to us. I’m sure it will when we are older which we are aware of.
