Russian girls emails

Hello everyone
We went on a trip last week and DH asked me to check in the hotel whilst he is unloading the suitcases. The booking confirmation was on his email. Did the booking and when looking for it, I pressed on junk mail. I saw many emails like 'you have a new message from..' many of those says Russian beauties. Most of the email were still bold (i am assuming unread) in the junk box.
I cannot make much sense from it. Is he talking to online girls? Is it porn? Is it a dating site?
Backstory: sex hasn't been great lately. He's been struggling to get an erection but no other issues in our marriage.
Thanks

You've hit issues but they are spam / junk emails and that's why they're in junk. You sound very naive.

Isbobmyuncle · 28/08/2021 15:09

I get these emails, as well as ones about pills to make my penis larger or harder and also ones about people who want to send me money. No idea why but I can assure you that I’m not speaking to any Russian women

SimoneSimone · 28/08/2021 15:10

If people are judged on the contents of their spam emails there is no hope!

Kithic · 28/08/2021 15:10

I get them too, and they are in the spam

I'd say there is nothing to be worried about unless there is anything else

Aquamarine1029 · 28/08/2021 15:11

Gently, I have to agree. I have messages exactly like this in my spam folder, including countless ones for penis enlargement, Ed pills, messages for "hot sexxx", etc, etc, etc. It means nothing.

HPandTheNeverEndingBedtime · 28/08/2021 15:11

Yes I get these all of the time too, bitcoin, various countries beauties wanting to meet me, Nigerian Princes, I have well over 1000 in my junk email box.

Why would you say am naive? I qas thinking he must have been on this site at least once even by mistake for them to have his email address right?

I get those emails, and I've never cheated, seen a sex worker, watched online porn, used a dating site, or had problems with my erection Grin

Literally everybody gets that spam.

My 94 year old mother in law gets these emails
I can categorically state she has never once visited any of these sites

HPandTheNeverEndingBedtime · 28/08/2021 15:14

I'm pretty sure I get these after my details being stolen, Joffrey and MN, monster job recruiting etc all of those data breaches lead to your details being stolen.

thistimelastweek · 28/08/2021 15:14

My husband gets loads. It's a running joke here.

For some reason I'm deeved with stuff about erectile dysfunction.

Aquamarine1029 · 28/08/2021 15:15

Not at all. I have never been on any of those sites and get spam emails every single day. Sorry, op, but this is common knowledge and has been going on basically since the internet began. You do sound rather naive about this.

Ishecheating1 · 28/08/2021 15:16

Thanks everyone..am relieved to hear that everyone gets this. Ive never had those emails before

I get these emails , never been on their websites. Its spam.

MysteriesOfTheOrganism · 28/08/2021 15:17

Just spam. I get dozens of these a week, from Russian girls as well as local women who are desperate to f* me... I'm not on any dating or adult sites, so the emails definirely do not reflect my activities.

CoasterCoaster · 28/08/2021 15:19

I qas thinking he must have been on this site at least once even by mistake for them to have his email address right?

Absolutely not, lots of unscrupulous companies sell our email addresses on so they can be used for this kind of thing, I'm surprised you've never had them yourself OP.

GreenTortoise · 28/08/2021 15:22

I've had one email about single muslims?
I am not a Muslim nor single..

And my Internet history is basically recipes!

Chemenger · 28/08/2021 15:23

I get these and every other kind of spam on my work email. They mostly go straight to spam folder so I never see them. There is always a spate after I’ve been on holiday because we have to have an out of office auto reply up and that lets spammers know they have a “live “ email address. You cannot possibly judge someone on the contents of a junk folder. Otherwise you would have me down as a sex crazed, but impotent, man looking to buy drugs, lab equipment and adverts in trade directories. Which I am not.

Have you tried dressing up as Joseph Stalin in the bedroom?

TedMullins · 28/08/2021 15:26

I get them as well and DMs on Instagram from naked Russian women. I’ve never visited their profiles or websites. It’s just spam.

larkstar · 28/08/2021 15:26

Look - go to haveibeenpwned.com/ and enter his email address - try yours too - you will very likely see that some perfectly innocent site he has used - e.g. linkedin, has been hacked and his email address appears in lists available to spammers - all kinds of ordinary sites have been hacked - this is how the spammers get and use the addresses - even things as innocent as some fitness apps have had their users email addresses pinched. Unless you have any other real evidence about him being up to no good these spam emails are nothing to worry about.

JustAnother0ldMan · 28/08/2021 15:27

Email addresses are regular harvested and used for spamming, pretty normal kinda spam really

Most of my email accounts get those emails. The addresses get sold to various places and then bulk spam is sent to them. It’s nothing to do with going to porn or dating websites (I don’t go to either).
